“It’s a mini Hyvee! Great selection for a small town, competitive pricing and even a liquor dept and a pharmacy. Can certainly appreciate their investment in the community. The store has friendly staff, and basically everything you might expect from a larger Hyvee minus the bakery, meat counter, and buffet. At the end of the day, the produce is FRESH which can sometimes be a challenge for smaller stores”
“It was a great place to shop. It looked like you're typical grocery store had things one would have in it. They also had a lot of things that were made right there in town. Asked around town about seasonings and they suggested this place. I'm taking some back to my son to try. The staff was helpful and friendly. Even the customers were friendly. If we get back up this way we'll definitely make a stop there. Sorry I didn't take any pictures.”
“Jossy the manager on duty is extremely helpful and nice. She is the reason why I come to this location instead of hopper . If Billie the other manger on duty is working my family won’t go in at all. They think Billie is rude grouchy and lacks compassion and customer service skills. So 5 stars for Jossy and 1 star for Billie. Maybe we got Billie on a couple bad days ?”
“The restaurant is now on the corner, with its own entrance. Delicious, fresh food at a reasonable price with friendly service. What more can you ask?! Although the Nachos Supreme are excellent, try the Molcahete (carne asada & nopales) for authentic Mexican cuisine - and it's enough to serve two. With an extensive list of liquors, it appears they also serve every known type of margarita. It's definitely our go-to for Mexican food - and worth the drive!”
