“If you are from the northeast Nebraska area, you might not be familiar with Las Cañas. However, you should be. This is by far the best authentic Mexican food experience you will get in a small town. This is a family owned business, and I can't recommend supporting them enough. I am a burrito lover. I almost always go with the chorizo burrito. The size of this burrito will fill the average person up. I always go for two burritos to be extra full. You also get fresh homemade chips here with any order. The salsa variety is also vast and there is bound to be one or two that will soon become your go to. I choose the dark red salsa that has a thick consistency. I am also a big fan of the avocado crema. There is a large selection of Mexican pops that will satisfy your thirst quenching needs. The restaurant is also a "mini supermarket" in my opinion. There is luggage, speakers, artwork, groceries, and much more to purchase here. I found a neat little panda picture that I bought for my classroom here. Whatever family member is working that day to take your order or ring you up at the cash register will always be polite to you. The interior ceiling has some sore spots, but that has no impact on your enjoyment of the food. I always feel good about supporting a business like this and will continue to come back here multiple times in the future. I have probably been here over 25 times in the course of 2 years ever since I heard about it. You will not be disappointed from visiting here.”
