“They do not have anyone there for propane service, ever I have been there numoris times, they tell me they have someone then when you get there after driving 40 miles one way buying 100 gallons of gas and going to get propane they tell you the person went home usally and hour ago does not make any difference when you arrive, morning, evening mid day they always went home an hour before
There fore I will be taking my once a week gas and propane business someplace else in Battle Mountain”

“Here they have the best price lower in gasoline and in Diesel I always compare the prices before I get to a gas station, where the lowest prices are and here was the lowest price I found. I recommend this place.”

“I've been running the i-80 for many years, and I finally stopped in here. I had an enchanting time real late at night. They were still serving food at like 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning. The drinks were only $3.75 Cuervo and orange juice. I haven't seen that price since the '90s. Christina is a great server. This place is going to be another reason why I like Nevada. A person ain't going to find three drinks, a huevos rancheros, a charming atmosphere at one or two in the morning for $21 anywhere.”
“Cleanest bathrooms of all time!
Not only was the gas cheap, But Customer Service was World class!
Happy, the cashier was a kind, diligent and helpful young man! He said that he personally cleans the bathrooms 3 to 4 times a day. Now that’s a standard of excellence and cleanliness that most people don’t even have in their own homes!
This young man is going places in life!
Definitely stopping here again!”

“This new Gulf location is one of the cleanest gas stations I’ve visited. The hot food was exceptional, and the prices were very competitive. It’s a great spot whether you’re making a quick stop or staying a bit longer—highly recommended.”

“We had to stop on a family vacation since my 7 year old was car sick. I have never purchased a truck stop shower and was pleasantly surprised how clean that it was. Staff was friendly and helpful. The towels were clean and fluffy. We didn't purchase anything other than a shower, but they appeared to have a variety of food and beverages. The truck stop was clean. There is a small casino attached as well.”
“Maverick is, for the most part, exactly what a gas station should be. Fuel, snacks, caffeine, questionable life decisions, and a steady stream of humanity barreling toward some unknown destination. The place was clean enough, the service was fine, and nothing particularly offensive occurred.
Then I made a mistake.
Somewhere between the coffee and the checkout counter, I spotted one of their breakfast burritos. It was sitting there under the heat lamps, radiating the kind of confidence that only a breakfast burrito has. I knew better. Every instinct developed through decades of survival on this planet told me to keep walking.
But I didn't.
Inside was some sort of pork-like substance that appeared to have been engineered by a committee whose only experience with pigs came from reading about them in old newspapers. The flavor was strange. Not aggressively bad, just deeply unsettling. The kind of taste that makes you stop chewing for a moment and wonder if you've accidentally discovered a new species.
To be fair, this is mostly on me. Walking into a gas station and expecting culinary excellence is like walking into a casino expecting financial stability. The warning signs were there. I ignored them.
So here's the verdict: Maverick is a perfectly decent gas station. Get your fuel. Get your drink. Grab some snacks. Just don't let overconfidence convince you that a heat lamp breakfast burrito is about to change your life. Some mysteries are better left unsolved.”
