“The Esquire Inn is different because of the people. But let me start with the location. Great location in downtown. Restaurants and bars just across the street. More within walking distance. All anyone could ask for. But when I had a problem with my vehicle, this is where 5 stars came from. Bill and his team at the desk were SUPER helpful, going way, way above and beyond what anyone could expect them to do. They really helped me out in a jam.
I should also say the room was spotless, the bed comfortable. The price point is amazing. You should really check it out if you are passing through.”

“Great stay, convenient location on the interstate, Grey town, we needed to rest up after two straight weeks in central Nevada wilderness. Giving these guys 5 stars because I enjoyed our suite and I like hard-working Western people.”
“Fine. Not fancy but it does the job for a quick overnight. The town of Elko caters to Casinos and not much else although we did see many guests headed to the rodeo, so probably that too. The room was decent but could have been better. Needs an upgrade as the room is looking a bit shabby/worn. The bathroom is separated into the toilet and shower in one room (with a door) and the sink and a closet in the other. The closet doesn’t seem necessary so perhaps the bathroom could have been bigger so it doesn’t feel quite so cramped. The kitchen area is small but we were able to heat up food and eat after a very long driving day so it was fine. There’s a small gym and a laundry room. Free breakfast daily, which is plentiful and tasty but they promptly shut it down at 10am (on a Sunday) so pay attention to the hours. An indoor pool and a small outdoor area is included as well. The other guests were quiet enough so getting rest is possible. The biggest complaint I have is the price. It’s a very basic hotel in the middle of nowhere so I think for where it is and what you get, it’s overpriced.”
“Quiet place and feels very safe, which is so important. Everything is clean and the family that runs it is super nice and responsive. The prices are very reasonable, they have their own website with pictures. This place does not have a 24 hour front desk, so you can’t expect there to always be someone there, but Crystal will reply to any texts for questions and come help as soon as she can.”

“I have been coming here for work purpose for the last 15 years . Hotel is under new management for the past year. I have no complaints New management is very friendly and very customer service oriented. I always get the king suite it is very clean. If I need anything all I have to do is ask.. I would recommend This hotelIf you need to stay in Elko . For me and has been a good experience with a new management. The rates are very competitive with another hotels you get more for your money”

“Clean room with big fluffy towels. Retro style/decor. LG TV, good size room quiet. Sheets were super soft . Pool is sparkling clean and very refreshing. Front desk is helpful and kind. Breakfast had several choices of hot breakfast sandwiches, cereals,cinnamon rolls, coffee, juice, etc. More than a continental breakfast but not a buffet.

“Had some transportation issues late at night after a long shift in Elko. It was like 27 degrees outside. I had no place to go and was stranded in the cold.
I called Shilo Inn and the night shift lady named Crystal was super friendly. Crystal helped me get a room and out of the cold. This was the best customer service I have ever had in Elko and I have lived around here for over a decade!
I will come back again just to stay for fun and let my kids swim in the pool. Way to go Crystal thanks for helping me get up out of the freezing temperatures. You Rock!!”

“Very clean and your free breakfast is at an a joining restaurant. Great waitress! Good food, came out of the kitchen hot and fast.
Very nice gal at check in.
Only thing I would change is to update mattresses. Very hard and uncomfortable.
Felt more like you were laying on a box spring than a mattress.
Heads up: this motel shares the property with a casino, but you do not have to walk through that property. Inside are where pool is could use some upgrades. Concrete needs attention. Also, cobblestone walkway around perimeter in front of rooms makes it very noisy when guests roll suitcases moving in or out of their room.”

“Fantastic rural restaurant. You really do need to travel to out of the way spots to find the best food. One of the best burgers I've had with a thick, real hamburger patty, a jalapeño popper and an onion ring with the rest of the fixings. Mike is a great cook! Went back for the breakfast and it was so big my wife and I could have split one. Great breakfast. Definitely recommend this place if you are traveling through!”
