“This is the most amazing store. They have fresh bakery, they make their own coffee bread. They have huge cheese bar, seafood bar, everything. They do not use or accept credit card as to allow us to have the lowest prices in town. By far, this store is great for meat cheese, basically, everything fruit produce. My personal favorite would be the coffee.”

“They have room for truck parking in the back out of the way, and maybe I could have parked all night.
They had good food like lamb meat and produce.
But there is an Albertsons across the street.”

“If you want fresh vegetables and fruits, this is the place to go, especially on Wednesdays, they have them on sale. Thursdays are meat sale. The store is always crowded, the aisle spaces are too narrow. Parking is ok.”

“Nice and tidy inside. A good amount of self checkout machines(I always go diy). I only went for 1 item and like some of the other mex. based markets, the sale items are usually really well priced.”

“This is my favorite store! We live close to it for 7 years, then bought a house 7 miles away last year. We drive all the way to this store still. No other Albertsons compares to this one! Love the people and cleanliness.”

“Great place for halal meat. While it is more a little bit more expensive than a regular grocery store, that is to be expected. I always get my leg quarters from here, 6 pieces for $7, can’t beat that! Staff is always friendly too! I’ve never had an issue with them ?”

“Stopped in for a quick shopping trip last night after our Smith's & Grimaldi's visit. Didn't get a cart, since we were only getting a few things. This was within the past few weeks. We went here recently this past weekend, also a small grocery trip, under $25. Two gallons of water, refrigerated biscuits, white rice, cream cheese- 1/3 fat, sourdough loaf, off the top of my head. Guess what I am saying is this is good for a big shopping trip or a small shopping trip. We are usually in the area too, so it is convenient. We used to frequent Sprouts and Trader Joe's but in the past six months, it's switched to Aldi, Wal-mart, & Sam's Club. It is a little frustrating when things are out, but it's also to be expected, so when there is numerous available, I get more, just in case. 'Cause you never know...”

“I hadn't been to Cardenas for a while, but today I really liked the clean and organized atmosphere. I had questions about the prices of some products, and a cashier very kindly helped me with the prices. She understood my needs. Helen is very charismatic and kind. More people like her, and also is good to see a youth cashiers.”

“I usually don’t shop very much at Cardena’s, and I don’t remember the last time I wrote a review for a grocery store. This place deserves it in all the ways. I was assisted at the checkout by a very sweet lady. Besides being inexplicably beautiful, well-presented, she was extremely friendly, quick, and very detail-oriented. I can’t say this is the same for most grocery stores where the interactions are usually quick and forgettable.

Prior to this interaction, I was assisted by a lady named Johanna, who was very kind in assisting me finding what I needed for a very important Mother’s Day dinner and took her time to show where to find what I needed.

I can’t express my gratitude enough for those who do their job with much joy and dedication such as the people that work here. Will definitely purchase my groceries here whenever I have the opportunity to do so.”

“La Bonita is very good for fresh vegetables and fruits. Mexican style store. Also make their owm tortillas shells. Meats looked good quality as well. Recommend, they also have juice bar with healthy options. As always they have great prices on many vegetables and fruits”

“I got some mojarra, and they fry and season it for free. Not just mojarra (whole tilapia) but catfish nuggets, shrimp, and I think squid or octopus too. You can ask them how crispy you want it. And if you use EBT, it's covered, and they'll fry it for you too. Their tres leches cake is delicious as well. Personally, I'm not a fan of tres leches cake, but the one I got here was decent, and I'd eat/buy it again. Very affordable place to shop.”

“They helped me out of an overpay today. We had some WIC items that were not totaling out correctly and they were patient with having to ring everything up itemized until we figured it out. They were extremely patient.”

“I go to Cardenas often because I live nearby and it’s convenient to drop and pick up groceries in the mornings. The workers’ are all pleasant. There are two who have stood out to me though. There’s a young lady by the name of Gaby who I have seen working and a woman by the name of Alma at self checkout. Gaby is the sweetest and always ready to help when needed so I am forever grateful for her! I usually see Alma as I visit throughout the week and I constantly see her offering to help people when needed and happily speaking to customers with a smile on her face! I immediately feel welcomed as I enter/leave in the mornings by these two lovely workers! Since I come by often, I have witnessed various situations and I believe they both are able to maintain admirable professionalism no matter what. They’re hard workers and deserve a raise and have influenced me to come by during my exhausting mornings! I pray that you continue to employ such wonderful workers at your establishment!”

It helps if you speak Spanish or maybe use your phone to translate if you have questions.”

“My wife and I love this store! She just migrated to America from Vietnam late last year and this is her very favorite store!
The store has fixed its only shortcoming that was the check out. They have hired several more cashiers that are awesome. One of which speaks fluent Vietnamese and makes my wife feel so welcome.
The store is not as busy as I would expect as it is the only store in the area that specializes in Asian groceries and the store is so clean and kept in great order. Great store and awesome staff!!!!”

“My favorite Smith's. The staff is friendly and I like it because it is a bit smaller. It feels more like a neighborhood welcoming store.
The pharmacist and staff are amazing and know just about everybody by name it seems.”

“Wish I knew of this place sooner. I'm white by the way, lol. But, if diversified food is your shtick, go here. From bakery, to meat, to produce every department just keeps giving. The selection of everything is just so amazing, fresh and mostly healthy. They have a wide variety of way to buy meat for good and fair prices. You can even get a goat head, I wouldn't believe it unless I seen it with my own two eyes. Personally I chose the Persimmons over that frozen animal head staring at me through the frozen plastic bag, yikes. Anyway, over all expense was memorable and most of the employees were cordial. I'll definitely be making my way back soon. No Pinatas, just quality food.”
