W Mart is a historic and local Korean grocery store, described as a small mom-and-pop shop or a hole-in-the-wall. It is a traditional store with a wide selection of Korean foods, sweets, drinks, household needs, fresh produce, and frozen goods. The store has most Korean basics and needs. At the front, there is a wonderful restaurant counter where freshly prepared, homestyle Korean food is sold, including kimchi, kimbap, and soup. The kkakdugi and pa-kimchi are highlighted as particularly good. The store is extremely well-run and spotless, with very friendly staff and an owner who is friendly. Prices are very fair, often with great sales and incredible bargain prices. The location is good, though some note there can be sketchy folks around. The store is also bilingual. It is seen as an integral part of the neighborhood.

They had all of my favorite Korean products that other stores don't carry. The staff was so sweet and welcoming!

I'm a fan of this place. It's a lil mom and pop shop in the Maryland/ Sahara shopping center. It has a lot of Korean goods. They have fresh food/produce frozen goods. The cashier was very friendly when it came to assisting me with a food purchase.
