“I absolutely love the convenience of the gas station and grocery store together. However this particular day, as I paid for my gas, the cashier became frustrated after telling her twice the pump was not working correctly. She then walked over, took the pump out and threw it on the ground as if I was bothering her. She then told me the transaction was cancelled, and told me to pay with my card at the next pump, im assuming she didn’t want to help me anymore. Im not sure why she is so frustrated, but maybe working with people is something she shouldn’t be doing.”

“Best gas prices in town but more importantly the service! The guy running the shop was so so sweet :) He gave us free hot coffee and helped us out with a leak from our generator by providing cardboard for us. He was just such a kind person and made the experience amazing!”

“I have been doing business with CVO since 1988. I still buy fuel through CFN. Decades ago, I was one of those "idiot drivers". I can't speak to the review from 2018, but my day, they responded to customer complaints in a timely fashion.”

“It's been a while now, I live in Reno but work in Tahoe, this is my gas stop since it's the least expensive gas in the region. Staff is great! Usually there for the graveyard shift, but I work earlier on Fridays and usually get there in the early evening to gas up. I think her name's Alana? But I notice her from a distance always working her butt off and sometimes I get her behind the counter when I pay cash and don't self check out. Great staff all around but with her, I just hope that her hard work habits isn't going unnoticed!”

“A great small gas station. It has some of the cheapest gas in town. This business has been here for a long time.
Pay at the pump. Great location on North Carson Street. Facility is clean and easy to get in and out of. Need snacks or headache medication, they've got that too. Just go inside the small building. Staff is friendly and helpful.”
“Some of you may wonder...what gives Chris G? Why you stop going to Costco gas station...it's because my Rover mechanic threatened to beat me up if I didn't start going to Chevron or Texaco fuel stations. He told me that Costco premium fuels are like a bag of mixed nuts. You never know what gasoline tier fuel your going to get. Hence unknown fuels makers can over time damage high performance engines. And wear and tear cost money Yelpstars. So I'd rather pay a little more at the pump than thousands in engine repair bills. Costco gas stations are honestly still my favorites, however I'm driving a needy, bitchy, supercharged British machine. So anyhow...little fact you didn't know about Chris G, I hate gas stations. Gas stations allow for random encounters with unknown and undesirable folks sometimes where crime happens. The pros of this Chevron Extra Mile is its quick, and no angry Costco gas fuelers fighting for pumps. also, It is closer to my Casa than Costco. Anyway Yelpstars the Crime tip of the day is to be aware at gas stations while pumping! Although I've never had any issues at this gas station. It's clean and it's efficient but don't linger. Be safe my friends.”
“I went inside this store Sunday, March 31, 2019. I have also been here a number of times for gas (Chevron). This location is at the northwest corner of East William Street and Rand Avenue. I was in the area so I thought I would stop on in. I at first was reluctant, as there was a homeless man sitting on the sidewalk next to the parking area. I know from my experience in California, they usually accost you when you park next to them, usually asking for money (though a homeless woman in Washington, DC once asked me for a "chicken" when I parked by her). So I parked at a gas pump to avoid him and proceeded to wash my windshield. There was not much fluid left in the squeegee container. Then as I approached the store, I saw him get up and stare into the store through the window, with his hand over his eyes to block the sun. He went in then exited 20 seconds later and walked away. I went in and noticed they have slot machines right in the front, as many convenience stores in Nevada do. This will come as a surprise unless you are from here or are used to the state. This is a very small convenience store, much smaller that their sister store on East Fifth Street. They didn't have as many hot, ready-to-eat foods, like hot dogs or pizza, and had a smaller drink dispenser section. There were not as many aisles too for food. They had one restroom, a gender-neutral one, which was locked, and you had to ask for the key to use it (the ones at the Jacksons on E. Fifth St.) are open). There were two employees: a younger man and woman at the cash register. The man went outside and the woman was busy with her phone. I said nothing to them and they said nothing to me. I learned as I was leaving they are open seven days a week from 5 AM to midnight. I give this store four stars, only because of the homeless man hanging out in front and because its small size.”

“This update is for the McDonald's connected to Jackson's Quick Mart, next door. It's been fetched off & closed for renovations, that appear to be exstentive, so will be closed for a while. I didn't see a date for reopening.”

“HAS DIESEL: Conveniently located and intermediately truckable for a 16-footer. Satisfies something greatly that I don’t like to advertise. The cashier was very calm and polite. It does have an exaggerated version of gas station taquitos and hot dogs: I tasted that “quality.” Well, I had lunch while pumping gas so I made it in time for my destination. Worked out well despite not my healthiest lunch.”
