D Bar M Western Store is a real western store for real cowboys, locally-owned in Reno since 1964. It is a true Western store unlike other chain stores, filled with pretty much everything "western." The store has a large selection of cowboy hats from Stetson, Resistol, American, and its own private label brand. It offers a variety of men’s and women’s cowboy boots, including White's Boots Smoke Jumper wildland firefighter boots. The inventory is giant, featuring the largest selection of quality new and used western horse tack in Reno. This includes custom saddles, custom leather goods, quality silver bits and spurs, chaps, scarves, turquoise, t-shirts, clothing, and more. The store also provides professional saddle and tack cleaning and repair. Customer service is important, with folks described as great, real down to earth, super friendly, nice, super helpful, and very resourceful. It is a cool store and one of our favorite places to shop, highly recommended for both cowboys and cowgirls alike.
I had a certain look of a cowboy hat that I wanted, and the staff went above and beyond to get what I wanted. The place has so many choices, I couldn't believe it. Total satisfaction. Nothing more needs said.

Got my first straw hat here was in and out of the store in 10-15mins. The woman who helped was very resourceful and helped me find something that worked for me. Would highly recommend?
