Very knowledgeable about the craft of making and repairing violins. Their appraisals are pretty spot on and if they don't purchase your instrument, they will point you in the right direction to a person who may want it

Brought my daughter's violin in for a few tweaks, and it came out a completely different instrument. These guys are masters at their craft. If you own or wish to own a string instrument, don't go anywhere but Dodd's!

I was in need of an urgent fix and Mr Dodd quickly identified several issues that he could fix to make my violin sound better. He fixed my violin and now it sounds wonderful.
