We had known Carly and Leah for a while before our wedding, and when it came time to start planning, my husband and I knew immediately that we wanted them to be part of our day. The Lodge hadn't done weddings before, but Carly and Leah made an exception for us and took on their very first wedding—and we feel so incredibly lucky that they did!
Leading up to the wedding, we met with them a few times to taste wines, try drinks, and figure out exactly what we wanted to serve. They made the entire process so much fun and gave us wonderful recommendations along the way.
For the wedding, they created and batched two signature cocktails for us: a spicy margarita for the bride and a Hugo Spritz for the groom. They also helped us select the wine and other drinks for the evening. Everything was delicious! On the wedding day, they set up the cutest little bar and brought the same fun, welcoming energy that we have always loved about The Lodge.
Our guests absolutely adored them. Months later, people STILL talk about how great Carly and Leah were and how much they loved the drinks—which says everything!
What made it even more special was getting to have two people we already knew and loved be part of such an important day in our lives. Carly and Leah went outside of what they normally do at The Lodge to help make our wedding special, and we will always be grateful for that.

“Lavender Ridge was an absolute DREAM of a wedding venue! It was our very first venue we saw, and the moment we toured it, we knew it was the perfect place for us, especially since lavender is one of my favorite things in the world. The property is stunning, and our fall wedding there was truly gorgeous. The natural beauty of the venue created such a romantic, peaceful atmosphere. It was honestly magical from start to finish.
I cannot emphasize enough how AMAZING and attentive Cameron (venue owner) was to work with. This venue has been in his family for so long, and you can tell how much he cares about giving couples an incredible experience. He was so accommodating, chill, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. Cameron went above and beyond for us, always making sure we felt supported and taken care of, even down to helping us as a coordinator on the day. This all made planning and the wedding day itself feel so much less stressful for a busy bride! It was clear he very much cared about making our day special.
The venue was the perfect size, and it felt just right for celebrating with around 80 our loved ones. On top of all that, Lavender Ridge was very affordable for how beautiful and well-maintained it is, which made it an even easier choice. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would recommend Lavender Ridge to any couple looking for a beautiful, relaxed and unforgettable wedding venue!”

“After going to explore and gamble ONE day at the Peppermill I was sent a comp for multiple nights free stay and tickets to the Reno Rodeo. I had my daughter come and visit, the room was nice and smoke free. They had a complimentary shuttle to take us too and from the Reno Rodeo. We had a great time, enjoyed great food at Oceano, and are looking forward to our next stay.”
“Viva Banquest Hall is a great spot, It's conveniently located with a good amount of avail parking. The room was spacious and delightful. I visited for a Turkish Mosaic Lamp making class and absolutely loved it! Again, the space is versatile and perfect for any event.”

“We had a celebration of life for my brother there on Saturday and the venue was absolutely perfect! Staff could not have been more accommodating, AV was perfect, and the venue was clean with plenty of parking. I highly recommend...I would give 10 stars if I could.”

“We rented the Pavilion for a baby shower on April 23rd, 2022. The space was perfect! Melanie was super easy to work with from giving a tour, to picking up the key to check out. The fee was a value for what we received. (Use of tables and chairs, stocked bathroom, private parking, etc.) I definitely recommend for any special event.”

“This is a beautiful little jewel of a venue, strangely tucked away in an industrial park, but at the edge by a pretty park and next to the Truckee River. A great place for dance classes, drum circles, small gatherings for weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. The curators, Tom and Iris are kind, friendly and knowledgeable in the growing of all kinds of organic vegetables, fruits and flowers. It's a wonderful place to just take a walk around, too. ?”

“Rooms are very roomy and comfortable, however, south facing rooms may have highway noise. Cameron at the front desk went above and beyond during a service outage with the elevator on the 3rd floor. Nice property, my Marriott expectations were high and this courtyard rose to the occasion.”
“It's a good movie theater, have been multiple times. It seems their popcorn is better now, it used to make our stomachs hurt and it's something that's come up in conversations about this theater with others. As of this May, we had a lot popcorn and hoped for the best. No upset stomach. Nice vibes, the staff aren't rude. Overall cool spot to watch a movie.”
“No other place to go but to the Reno Event. Good things happen there. Family events like the TobyMac deep hit tour. Events where you can leave the kids at home like Jeff Dunham. Parking is right across the street or you can park at the local casino for free. All fun things at Reno event center.”
