About Nevada Museum of Art The Nevada Museum of Art in Reno is a vibrant cultural hub. Visitors have enjoyed impressive exhibitions, such as the Ichthyosaurus exhibit, which was an amazing experience with incredible fossils. There were plenty of engaging exhibits and videos to watch, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable. The museum's architecture is ECLECTIC & OVERSTYLED but somehow cool. The staff is friendly, and there are cool but hidden ORANGE RESTROOMS. It is a fun place to escape the downtown bustle. They're expanding, and that area won't be open until Spring 2025, but the rest of the place is beautiful—wonderful permanent collections, along with fun, educational temporary ones. The café was closed, but you could still smell the robust coffee. There's also free wifi for visitors. They also offer many discounts: students, military, senior, and member options. The shop is also so cute, with so many different items to choose from for all ages. Attendees can explore various exhibits while enjoying drinks and live performances from local musicians. The museum's efforts to include local businesses enhance the experience, making it a wonderful space for art lovers and the community. With its diverse offerings and lively atmosphere, the Nevada Museum of Art is a treasured destination in Reno, perfect for escaping the harsh weather and immersing oneself in art and culture.

Enjoyed the modern museum & a must visit to enjoy any visual or interpretive art. Parking is a little limited but you can find street parking all around. This also allows you to enjoy little shops and eats near the museum.
