“Check engine light came on in my 2012 BMW X5 diesel. Turned out to be problem with the DEF system which had to be replaced. Techs did a great job of explaining what was wrong and options. I opted for replacing the system. Not cheap, but SAS has cared for my last three BMW’s and I’ve been very happy with the honesty and the quality of their work. Happy I opted to do the repair properly after weighing the options.”

“Pro 1 Automotive in Reno is great. Easy to get appointments and they take of your equipment. They always use plastic covers to protect my leather seats. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. When I check out I am provided with a vehicle report card so I know if there may be something coming up that needs to be taken care of.”

“Bought a set of BF Goodrich KO3s here a few months back. The tires have performed exceptionally well on all sorts of road connections between Smoke Creek, Black Rock, Seven Troughs, etc... The only issue was a tire catching a framing nail in town, I took it in and the shop repaired the tire immediately, no charge.”
“Really good experience. Went in to get 2 used 225/60 tires. $100 out the door. Pretty quick and they have a orange cream colored cat who is very nice to pass the time with. Someone walked in to get tires while I was there. They didn't have the correct size so they told them to go to another tire place next door to check there. No up selling, No making you wait. I was in and out in about 36 minutes. Good customer service. Would recommend if you need new or used tires.”

“Got my tonneau cover done here a couple years ago. I had one small issue about a year after I got it, and Custom Truck fixed it under warranty. I recently broke a plastic piece that holds the support bars on the tonneau cover (my fault), and Candice promptly provided me with two replacements at no cost. Exceptional service and I will always take my truck here!”
“I’m new to Reno and was looking for a place to get new tires when I found Hernandez Tire Shop. Instead of trying to upsell me on a full set, he was honest and recommended getting used tires for now since my back tires still had some life left. That kind of honesty is hard to find.

“Am from Texas and came in for an oil change, I was greeted by Rick Loveness, he made the experience great. Ensured me the service could be down within the hour and it was done. My time in the lobby just listening to the staff and Rick take phone calls or talking to people walking in with issues was unbelievable how they would take care of them. It was great hearing them explain to people that they didn't need all the tires replaced or that a certain service could wait until next. The honesty the crew has here is incredible, other shops should take note on how service should be done. I highly recommend this place for any service.”

“I was due to pick up a group at 4:45pm on a Saturday. I stopped at a gas station and noticed a nail had in my tire at 4:40pm (which I purchased from Les Schwab) also on Sunday I had a trip from Reno to San Jose planned where I had to leave at 9:00AM.
As one may imagine my heart sunk on seeing the nail as I did not want to be driving with a potential safety issue or tire blow out (especially with a car full of passengers).
I called Les Schwab and explained my issue. They said if I could make it by the shop they could fix it quickly. So I picked up my passengers at 4:45pm and headed to the shop.
I arrived at 4:59pm, (shop closes at 5:00pm and not open Sunday), ran in and explained again my situation. The Sales person Andrea greeted me smiling and said, this isn’t the shop you called, but we will definitely get your issue handled.
While I spoke to her, the Service Tech, Adrian V, took the car and fixed the nail issue with ease and efficiency.
We were on the road, all time frames were met and everyone was grateful, especially me. I can’t recommend this shop enough and have had the best experiences with Andrea over the years.
Truly grateful as the staff, Ben (Manager), Andrea (Sales), and Adrian (Tech) really came through at the last minute.
I really appreciate the customer service, smiles and efforts the team at this location gave me.

“2 new steer tires,3 axle alignment, very friendly and nice place to do business, better than local truck stops,no issues with alignment. We'll back to get 2 more steer tires and a front end alignment, just showed up on Monday, told them what I needed and it was executed a day ahead of what they told me they could do. They did a very good job on communicating with me as needed. Fernley as a Purcell no alignment machine and the customer service is not good.
