“Daly’s Esso Convenience Store on Hampton Road is not just a place to grab gas, snacks, or the emergency coffee required to continue being a functioning adult. It is, as far as I can tell, a full‑scale Daly family operation.
There must be at least 37 Dalys involved. You walk in for a drink and somehow get greeted like you’ve arrived at a family reunion where everyone is exceptionally good at customer service. Need gas? They’ve got you. Need coffee? They’ve got you. Need a snack, directions, or somebody to restore your faith in local businesses? Also covered.
Tom is my brother, so yes, I may be slightly biased—but I would still say this place rocks even if I had to pay full price for my snacks like everybody else.
You will not find a more caring family in North America than the Dalys. Whether you need a prayer, a hot dog, or just a laugh, you will not leave disappointed. Family‑owned, family‑run, and run with more heart than most big chains could fit in their entire head office.
All 37 of you know my daughter’s name, and only six of you have even met her. That alone tells you everything you need to know about the Dalys.
