“It's somewhat of a necessity on the island given the remote reality. I agree with the observation of one reviewer who likened it to that of a corner store. I noted a few aisles with empty shelves but I suspect given the traffic it makes sense to only stock what they can sell. Prices are okay for where it is.”
“We were looking for something to eat in the little town of Lubec, and this place was recommended to us. We got the BLT and a turkey sandwich. The bread was fresh. The sandwich was stuffed full of meat and veggies. Pleasantly surprised by this little place!”

“Lot bigger than I was expecting for a grocery store out here. Had everything we needed, and for a good price. They don't take American Express, though, so keep that in mind.”
“I shop there regularly in Eastport and the staff is always helpful. Sure beats driving into Calais for a gallon of milk. Prices are what you would expect. The store could use an appearance upgrade. Liquor selection and prices aren't bad!”

“First time in 40 years I had freshly baked pizza from the island. The pepperoni pizza and the Works were deilcious.I had heard Mackie's pizza was good, and now I can vouch for that. :-)”
