“I just learned that the heirloom tomatoes that I had been purchasing every week from FreshDirect (serving Long Island, NY) were sourced from here. I don’t know how they were available from February to late April (greenhouses, I expect, but they must be huge!); FD has not had them since, and I have written, tweeted, contacted them in every way possible. Outside they are seasonal—but then why were they available in winter? Wouldn’t greenhouse growing work in spring and early summer? Anyway, they are the absolute best bar none. Every delivery (and I ordered at least 5 or 6 every week, usually more—I would eat them at every meal every day if I could get them) would arrive, plastering a huge grin on my face. Dark red-purple beauties ranging in size from medium to gigantic, all perfect, all so flavorful beyond what words can describe. I wish I could show you; better yet, I wish all of you could bite into one right this moment.”
“i’ve tried the chicken masala and the khofta with both the regular and garlic naan and both dishes were incredible! made to order, the food has amazing flavor and a nice spice that’s not overwhelming if you don’t usually eat spicy. the khofta is vegetarian and my favorite out of the two! give these guys a try, great indian food for the area!”

“My husband and I were traveling NW and stopped at a few gas stations so I could use the restroom and get coffee. None had public restrooms, so I didn’t buy anything. Jake’s has clean bathrooms and good coffee. They also had a great deli section. Definitely stop here!”
“Love George’s been coming for years old and new ownership good prices only complaint is the sandwiches the bread sucks for cold sandwiches it’s like 95%bread and 5% sandwich if they just used regular bread if they don’t want to add more meat and veggies it would be a solution”

“Visited New England to see fall colors this year and while passing through the town explored
Canaan Farmers Market. It’s a small town and market is placed in a great location, has some parking out front. Produce is fresh and beautiful! They have winter clothes, honey,veggies, fruits, chips, jams, nuts, small fresh pies, milk eggs, beautiful plants and some food stalls! The employees are there to answer questions, help when needed, and so polite!! It’s definitely the place to get fresh produce & eggs! We had thai good from the food stall it was very fresh and delicious.there was a live music show going on we had fun!!!”
