“Great place and close to White Mountain. It's close to the highway, but further enough that you don't hear any traffic. Nights are very quite and we had a great time here.”
“Super clean rooms, great outdoor area, and pool. Our son has special needs and we felt at home and at ease. The chickens and geese were adorable. I'm a chicken mama and was missing ours, so they were so cool to see. All of the other guests were super kind and non judgemental. Our son talked to many in the pool . He asked us to go back next year and we will. Our new favorite get away”

“We stayed in Cupid's corner one night. We then stayed in Desserted Island. They have a moving clamshell bed, it was so comfortable. The staff is always so nice and friendly. The White Saloon food and drinks were delicious.
Rooms: Each room is different. We have stayed in Log Cabin, Cupid's Corner, and Desserted Island.
Food & drinks: The drink menu is fun. The food is delicious. We had breakfast. Great Crispy hash browns, and we had pizza and appetizers. All of our food tasted great.”

“This place is one of a kind! We had our wedding here and had a long weekend with friends and family and it was unforgettable. The views were AMAZING! The sunsets over the mountains were breathtaking. Both of our parties stayed with us and we got to enjoy multiple nights of hanging by the fire, hot tub, and private bar. There were plenty of games to play for entertainment. The industrial kitchen made it so easy to prep food. There was so much room in this inn for people to mingle and relax. It was truly amazing and I plan to come back in the future!Rooms: So spacious and clean. So many bathrooms to each room. Made all my guests comfortable.”

Let’s start with the service!! Evan was very accommodating. He could be seen cleaning the pool doing maintenance cleaning etc he chairs and ashtrays in front of the rooms laundry duty and answering calls Anything we needed he was available.
Pool was clean. Grounds were clean.
Room was exactly what I expected. Clean. Bathroom was updated. New floor in the bathroom. Rug wasn’t bad. I’d rather not have rugs but my preference. Beds were decent white sheets. New a/c there was a fridge and a microwave
Bonus for the ice machine!!
Great location in walking distance to breakfast spots. Right on the center strip.
Highly recommend and if we are in the area we will come back”
“Just got back from a 4 night stay, nothing bad to say about this place. We only went to the club house twice, once to swim and once to play games. Check-in was easy, check-out was even easier. Would stay again if ever back in the area with a the 3 kids.

“Sept 2022- my family, friends, and I stayed at the Cabernet Inn for our wedding and found it to be spacious, cozy, and a great place overall to stay. Scott was accommodating to our group and we had no issues with check in/check out. There are strict rules and cleaning procedures in place, but they weren't too much of an issue for us to follow. Great location, plenty of parking, and the fields behind the inn have a great view of Cathedral Ledge. Warning: there are gun shots and hunters back there during hunting season!”
“We made a weekend trip to North Conway and searched for a place with a heated pool and hot tub which led us to this resort. Fromthe second we walked through the doors we were treated like we had just showed up at a good friend’s house. Zara was beyond kind and helpful at our check in. The concierge, Judy, was a rock star. Ive traveled the world and I’m quite certain I never knew the name of any concierge Ive ever met until Judy. My 85 year old mother and special needs daughter were with me and Judy went out of her way to accommodate us going as far to pick out the best wheelchair for my mom. Zara and Judy are good people. Simple as that. The heated indoor/outdoor pool was awesome as were the outdoor twin hot tubs! Definitley give this place a whirl and make sure to say hi from Tom!

“We got married at the Villager July 8th 2022. The staff are friendly and we frequently stay there. The firepits are awesome. They also have BBQ grills, picnic tables, and outdoor chairs. There is a playground area and a fenced in pool, and a forrest pathway to the saco with beautiful views for pictures. A great time was had by all, and still is.
It's a great stop for hikers who come through the Appalachian Trail, to rent a room for a bed and a shower, or a few, especially during rainy segments of the trails.
Right down the street from Attitash Bear Peak, and about 15 minutes from Story Land in Glen, NH.

“Clean and warm place, a great discovery! The staff is extremely welcoming. I love these old hotels full of history like you can still find in New England. This one is particularly well maintained and has a wonderful character. We booked last minute on Booking.com and given the more than affordable price, our expectations were not high... but once there we couldn't believe how wonderful it was. Restaurant on site and very good lunch included. A pleasant surprise, we will definitely return!”

Clean, quiet, Keurigs in rooms, nice TVs, firm and comfortable beds.
Staff so pleasant and professional.
Structures a bit scruffy but that's probably why they're renovating (May 2024). Renovation did not bother, half of the hotel appeared to be behind a plastic sheet.

“We visit the area several times a year. This visit we were lucky enough to visit Sonehurst Manor.
The inn itself was absolutely beautiful with all the original woodwork and doors. The architectural work was amazing. The view from the grounds was breathtaking. Being able to enjoy it under the old trees added a perfect amount of calmness.
HOWEVER, the best part of our stay would have to be the staff! Everybody was very friendly and professional. Most of all there were 2 staff that really made our visit special. Olivia at check-in was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She was quick to aid in anything my husband and I needed. She went out of her way to answer our questions and engage in conversation that you wouldn't get from most hotels.
I did have a small issue with my dinner. But our sever April was right there to assist and make our evening just as wonderful as our check-in.
In a world that seems to have lost the meaning of hospitality, these two women shine so bright.
Thank you to all the staff for being amazing! But a special thank you to Olivia and April! We look forward to our next visit!!!!”
