He gave me a couple options (both of which felt great) and was able to leave with a super comfortable pair of new shoes to get going, all within 5-10 minutes. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I’ll be back!”

“I came here under the recommendation of a family member. There's a great selection, and the price was fair. I selected an Oxford style shoe that can be worn in semi casual to dressed up. There's a 60-day return policy if you do not like the shoes. These shoes fit and look great. You can also purchase belts, shirts, ties, socks....it's a great men's shop.”

“This is one of my favorite outlet stores in Maine.They have a good sized assortment of clothing that is marked down to very reasonable prices.The last time I was in there I looked around for a while and saw three beautiful tops so I went ahead and tried them on. I was only going to take one of them since I was planning on going to a few other outlet stores in the area and did not want to spend all of my money in one place.They were all so nice that it was hard to pick but I thought about what I had at home for bottoms and accessories to go with the tops and finally I decided on a winner. The store was neatly organized and it was fun to browse what they had in stock.The signage on the clothing displays clearly showed any discounts available on the items.The sales floor and fitting rooms were spotless and I could tell that the store is well taken care of by the employees.The clerk at the cashier station was pleasant to deal with and I was satisfied with the service that I received.I will make it a point to come back to this store the next time I am in Maine doing some outlet shopping.”
“All Crocs all the time. Did not even realize there were Croc stores. Anyway, my granddaughter was visiting so I took her there. Not only did she get cute stuff, I got my first pair of Crocs ever. They have tons of Jibbitz, so I let her go nuts. We even got Jibbitz surprise packages which were BOGO. The store clerks were helpful and friendly. It was a very sweet experience.”

“I have shopped at this little shoe store multiple times over the past five years. They carry brands I like at reasonable prices. Every time I have come in I have been treated with kindness and courtesy. The staff have been helpful, and the owner has been an absolute gem. Tonight I had an issue with a pair of boots I bought last winter (minor manufacturers defect) ,the owner made it right without hesitation. He was so kind and personable. I would say I am a customer that seeks value in my higher end (yet modest) purchases. My needs have been more than satisfied with Footnotes!”

“The staff is always nice and welcoming. And I really appreciate that. For awhile there the product was disorganized but they worked miracles to neaten it up again. Its hit or miss depending on what Im looking for for me or my husband but if in the market for shoes I always include this shop in my search and more often than not I am pleased and leave very happy with my purchase! Its fun to enter the store to have the customer service desk right there and then the special sale items on the right as I walk towards the womens section.”
