“I was helped by 2 wonderful gentlemen today! I scheduled my appointment with Aaron, who was kind and respectful. He was able to get me an appointment same day and addressed all of my concerns and questions.
I also had the pleasure of having a wonderful interaction with Adam. An absolute stand up guy who was able to give me great/clear information, was kind, respectful, and very obviously cares about customers. He shared that he has been with the company for over 21 years and will remain dedicated because the owner believes in strong customer service. It’s unlikely you will see him because he works at 6 locations in total. If you happen to interact with him, your day will be blessed!

“Made themselves available to check the tire pressure on my class c rv the same day I called in. They informed me that the parts (valve extenders/soft stem pressure gauge) I was instructed to purchase from camping world were not at all what I needed and gave me an easier/faster/less expensive solution. The gentleman helping me took the time to show me how to get to the valve stem on the interior dually tire (again debunking the info I got from camping world). Felt like they really cared and were genuinely helpful. In and out in 20 minutes.”

“I met Adam about a week ago. His presentation was kind and courteous, and he gave a good handshake that should tell you enough. But I’ll be more specific. I had a fuel leak situation that I thought was fairly dangerous. He advised me based upon his experience as to what it might be or what it would be and gave me an estimate of the cost associated. My truck was in his shop within four days as promised, and he delivered it as promised exceedingly above and beyond any short notice service calls I have seen. Regardless, it’s very difficult to find quality mechanics these days and he is working it out. What impresses me the most about Adam is that he said what he was going to do. He gave me a price? He did what he said he was going to do and he stayed within five dollars or so within his estimate. I am very impressed and if you need quality repairs done to any of your vehicles, make sure you contact Adam and tell him I sent you”
“I saw the vehicle I wanted on their web site, so I picked up the phone and gave them a call. Ali answered. He was knowledgeable and friendly. With an appointment set up, I drove down from Portland, Maine and met Ali in person. A few hours later I drove home in my new Hyundai at a great price with a fair trade in value. The car was detailed and the extras that McFarland included, most notably the 3 years, 36k of service and exterior protective coating, helped to seal the deal. Ali worked with me throughout the entire purchasing process. For the first car I negotiated without the help of my mother, The entire trip to McFarland could not have gone better! “Jim is extremely thorough. I appreciate his time. Parts aren't crazy and labor is reasonably priced. Sourced OEM exhaust manifold for me even though Mazda isn't so common around the Berwicks.

“The team at Monro Auto Service in Exeter went above and beyond to help me and to fix my van the same day. They worked hard to remove rusted and fused bolts and rotors parts. My brakes feel so solid and safe and I feel like I can stop on a dime. They did an amazing job on my alignment too. My van drives straight as an arrow. I came in to do an alignment and my brakes froze when they were backing it out of the bay. I started to cry when I realized the amount of work that needed to be done on my van. The Manager, Paul, who has a heart of GOLD, made me some coffee and worked with me to prioritize what needed to fixed and made it as affordable as possible. I can't thank Paul and the team that worked on my van enough. I am life long customer that is for sure. Thank you everyone at Monro in Exeter. You all are amazing!!”

Noted that employees are extremely stressed. I heard mention of one employee calling out, one just not showing up and one who had to leave early for a personal issue. With over 20 scheduled appointments, walk-ins were being turned away and/or walking away.
I like Sullivan for tires and maintenance but beyond that, I'd recommend using a dealer for major repairs. The Sullivan mechanics are skilled but they don't know your car like dealers' shops do. Perhaps they (mechanics) could hang professional course completions / certifications where they are visible to the consumer - as a confidence boost?”
