Pet Grooming
Fur Frenzy
781 Central St, FranklinI highly recommend! I’m so happy with how my dogs grooming came out, it was exactly what I wanted with an affordable price. They take great care of the animals, and provide a comforting, inviting space for them (my dog arrived there very nervous and left wagging her tail and running around all happy)

Pet Sitting & Training
Trail Tails, LLC (Formerly Fine's Canines)
46 Woodrow Ave, FranklinAs the owner of an anxious, highly energetic dog, we need someone who really understands dogs. She won't just go to anyone. We've tried other boarding programs with limited success. Fine's Canines provides our dog with love, attention and lots of dog walks. Sophie loves her time with Julia and we can enjoy our vacation knowing that she'll be taken care of with all the care we provide to her at home. If you are looking for a recommendation, you can be rest assured that your dog will pampered and well loved during their stay.

Off Leash K9 Training, LLC
43 View St, FranklinWe adopted Rosie in April 2022 as a rescue at about 9-10 mo old and she is super sweet but was absolutely terrible on a leash, nipped at us, lunged at anything and everything on walks, super high prey drive, tons of barking... You name it. We have two young kids so were somewhat worried for their safety overall as well. We couldn't leave Rosie alone in a room with them.We found OLK9 after trying hopelessly to do weekly training in our home - the scheduling was just a nightmare. We drove 3 hours for the next available OLK9 trainer and it overlapped with a trip we were planning anyway.Rosie did the 2 week board and train with Kerry in NH and she has returned a new dog. I must admit, I was skeptical... But Rosie is such a good listener now, a dream to walk on a leash, and most of the time she is even off leash! I never could have imagined we could have her off leash. We don't have a fenced in yard so this is a real game changer. We go to a local dog park that is not enclosed and it's huge - I have total confidence that Rosie will come when called, as she always does.We are so thankful to Kerry and OLK9 for giving us this new freedom!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
The Franklin Cafe
366 Central St, FranklinI cannot say enough good things about this cafe! My 3-year-old and I love to visit before the park and we always have such a wonderful experience. The owner’s pup frequents the cafe (such a well behaved boy) and he is one of our favorite reasons to visit. Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area.
