“I’m a new runner and heard from a few friends that Runner’s Alley was a great place to go for a pair of shoes. I went in and Mitch quickly started helping and assessing my gait/run. He gave me a couple options (both of which felt great) and was able to leave with a super comfortable pair of new shoes to get going, all within 5-10 minutes. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I’ll be back!”

“I was visiting Boston for a conference and wanted to take a drive up the NH/Maine cost since I have never been. I saw that there was a Sperry outlet in Kittery. I stopped by since it was Thanksgiving weekend and maybe a good sale. BINGO. They had the shoes I was looking for and then some. The girl helping me was awesome and super helpful. Sorry I don't remember her name. I needed a size 9.5 and she searched the store and found them. I have been wearing this brand for over 40 years and love them. Thanks Sperry.”

“I came here under the recommendation of a family member. There's a great selection, and the price was fair. I selected an Oxford style shoe that can be worn in semi casual to dressed up. There's a 60-day return policy if you do not like the shoes. These shoes fit and look great. You can also purchase belts, shirts, ties, socks....it's a great men's shop.”

“Cole Hann Kittery has an awesome staff member--going above and beyond with customer service. I was returning a purchase from their on-line site. The store had just gone to a new payment system, and it wasn't making the credit easy. After a call to techs in NY and Canada who werenknowledgable and patient, the staff member was able to credit me my total purchase. So sorry that I didn't get his name! Not only does CH have quality products but also great customer service.”

Store Manager Mark helped locate an item that they didn't have in stock; Cathy made the order and saved me the shipping cost. These folks make a great team!”
“I have been shopping at Bobbles in Portsmouth for about six years… 89% of my wardrobe is from here, perfect conditions perfect wear they don’t tear and Emily is the best stylist I have everrrr shopped with. “This is one of my favorite outlet stores in Maine.They have a good sized assortment of clothing that is marked down to very reasonable prices.The last time I was in there I looked around for a while and saw three beautiful tops so I went ahead and tried them on. I was only going to take one of them since I was planning on going to a few other outlet stores in the area and did not want to spend all of my money in one place.They were all so nice that it was hard to pick but I thought about what I had at home for bottoms and accessories to go with the tops and finally I decided on a winner. The store was neatly organized and it was fun to browse what they had in stock.The signage on the clothing displays clearly showed any discounts available on the items.The sales floor and fitting rooms were spotless and I could tell that the store is well taken care of by the employees.The clerk at the cashier station was pleasant to deal with and I was satisfied with the service that I received.I will make it a point to come back to this store the next time I am in Maine doing some outlet shopping.”

“Awesome boots , so comfortable and practical ,very nice cut, I like how its not too tight round the toes side..I started to enjoy more walks in the countryside since I got them :)I also like the waterproof spray ,it helps in UK climate. .I usually use gel foot pads to adjust the size , the last boot I had lasted 10 years with good after care.Great products and customer service . .they generously made it possible to buy in 3 payments and I got discount and Many other benefits from registering to join the online community website.Thanks alot ?”

“I have seldom visited this location. During our visit there today we were surprised to have been helped by an employee who was helpful regarding an inquiry we had. We visited several other shoe store locations looking for a certain style shoe, and upon visiting here we didn't see the style. The employee looked to see if they had one online and they didn't. We purchased two pair of different shoes and were glad to have had a flyer received in the mail that was useful at the visit, approximately $20 off our purchase; that was great! The Rockports I am wearing were purchased today and are very comfortable!!”
“On Friday afternoon, 2/21/25, we brought in our 4 grandchildren for shoes. Kyle did a great job measuring their feet, experimenting with various shoes for fit, and explaining the cost of the various shoes that were being tried on. We spent almost two hours in the store and all 4 grandkids left with what they wanted. It was a great shopping experience and it was a great afternoon. A big thanks to Kyle for helping us get through it.”

“I have shopped at this little shoe store multiple times over the past five years. They carry brands I like at reasonable prices. Every time I have come in I have been treated with kindness and courtesy. The staff have been helpful, and the owner has been an absolute gem. Tonight I had an issue with a pair of boots I bought last winter (minor manufacturers defect) ,the owner made it right without hesitation. He was so kind and personable. I would say I am a customer that seeks value in my higher end (yet modest) purchases. My needs have been more than satisfied with Footnotes!”

“I love shopping here! I have been coming here a few times a year for a few years now. The clothes are good quality and last for seasons. I love that you can easily get an evening outfit, a work outfit, and a casual outfit all in one go. There’s a large clearance section in the back where you can find crazy deals, but try to shop here on holiday weekends to maximize your savings. They celebrate any and all holidays, so it’s not that difficult. The sizing can be inconsistent so I recommend trying things on. The staff is super friendly and always helpful. I do wish the petite area had more selection, but otherwise this store is a big winner. A++++”
