“On a road loaded with bright, flashy or garish retail, this hardware store is subtle. I had past by multiple times before I realized it was there. That was unfortunate. As a technician and builder I use a lot of tools, hardware and components. Every item I have needed I have found here.I have a habit of walking into a store, not knowing what I need for a task but "Looking for an idea" , this is a perfect place for that. I have found great solutions for problems this way. I have also found that an employee will, unlike larger places, will ask you if you need help. They seem to be genuinely friendly, ready to assist and above all, useful.I build guitars and have found far more paint, wood treating and miscellaneous for finishing them here than any other hardware store around.If you miss the feeling of walking into a real hardware store, a place you can buy John Deere Yellow paint, #6 brass wood screws and a 4-40 plug tap then stop by, I am sure someone there will help you.”

“Plaistow store is the most customer friendly in the area, the associates and cashiers always offer assistance and are always pleasant. I was assisted on 3 different occasions by Susan, Mark and Zack all of whom were pleasant, friendly and accomidating. thank you all for consistently being helpful and pleasant, it is much appreciated and a pleasure to visit your store”

“I just used HD’s Rental Center for the first time this weekend. There was only one gentlemen working the counter so I had a little bit of a wait before I got my aerator. But, he acknowledged and apologized for the wait. He was also kind enough to help me load and offload the aerator and even let me borrow a strap for the ride home.

The aerator worked great. I brought the tool back a few hours early so my total was less than I expected.

Overall this was a great experience! My only advice would be to budget a few extra minutes in case there’s a line.”

“I would have written a bad review because my shipment was extremely late amd messed up by the vendor, but Spencer in Customer Service bailed me out. He was on top of the problem, resolved it and even volunteered to go pick up and deliver my order himself. He showed what Customer Service should be all about. Need more like him.”
