Furniture Stores in Portsmouth, NH

“Bill, store manager, was excellent. He took the time to explain the various features of all displayed merchandise, the warranties, the cost and quality of good, better, best. We were into research mode, thinking about buying and Bill was excellent with virtually no pressure. He made the sale based on his skills and knowledge and personality.I will highly recommend this store to any family or friends for purchasing new mattress and/or a package”

“Such a better experience than your typical big-box mattress or furniture store. When we walked in, we were greeted by Tom and his relaxed, easygoing nature, which was a refreshing change from other mattress stores where salespeople seem to rush over simply to make a commission.

Tom was clearly knowledgeable about his products and confident in his recommendations, but we never felt pressured or pushed toward a purchase. Instead, he started by asking what type of sleep experience we were looking for and then guided us through options that fit our preferences.

We were specifically looking for an organic mattress and wanted to try one in person before buying. Most of the other stores we visited only had a single option. Clean Bedroom's business model is centered around providing those healthier, organic choices, and the selection reflected that.

We ultimately purchased a Naturepedic mattress and later decided we wanted to swap out some of the layers. Tom gladly took the time to discuss the issues we were experiencing and walked us through the options he recommended and then helped with the layer swap. That level of service and post-purchase support is something you simply don't get at most mattress stores.

If you're in the market for a mattress, stop by and see Tom, you will be glad you did. Thanks again for all your help!”

“We ordered a livingroom couch and two chairs. The furniture that arrived is very well made and attractive. The two men who delivered it were careful with the furniture as well as our home.”

“This great little shop had exactly what I needed to make my new condo festive for the holidays! Kristen is on top of what you might need. I’m frequently stop in to find something I can’t live without.”

“This is basically a HomeGoods but with a lot more furniture and lighting. I have shopped here multiple times over the years and always find more than I was actually shopping for. They have the best holiday decorating options right now too!”

“I had an excellent experience shopping at Allen Wayside Furniture. They have a fantastic selection of high-quality furniture, and the showroom is set up beautifully, which really makes it easy to visualize how different pieces might look in your own home. What I appreciated most was the customer service the team there is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy, allowing me to take my time and find exactly what I was looking for. It’s rare to find such a great balance of variety and personalized service. If you are in the market for furniture, this is definitely a place worth visiting.”
