“Great place if ur hanging out on cobbetts pond & need anything quick drinks alcohol &soda snacks for kids even gas for the boats. A little bit pricey but can't beat the convenience. Excellent staff as well with anything .u might need. Great place in town!!!!”

They do have some excellent stuff and some of the prices are very good. They have tended to discontinue things that I really liked but I guess that means my tastes aren't mainstream. The people that work here seem to be pretty happy and they are very helpful.”

“This is the place you want to go if you want more food and spend less money I had a full carriage of not just like milk cheese and eggs but also with Hamburg a 10 lb roll also steaks roast beefs and chicken pork chops in other stuff from other aisles in the store and they spent less than $200 if I went to Walmart it would have been $375 for what I got at market basket”

“The store appears to be clean. Isles are arranged in a fashion where you can find the item that you're looking for. They also have a good sized cigarette counter. This is beneficial because they are one of the few, over the border, that sell them at very competitive price.”
“This is more of a shout out than a review for store 84 at Tuscan in Salem, NH 12/26/2025 (around noonish). The cashiers and baggers are pleasant for the most part. However, today I was lucky enough to get in line at Register 5 where Denise was cashier, and Lorraine was bagging. These 2 ladies are the friendliest, most upbeat, thoughtful and happy (and funny…let’s not forget funny!) employees I’ve ever encountered at Market Basket. They really are such a dynamic duo and an absolute pleasure to talk to! I don’t usually write reviews, but couldn’t let this go without acknowledging such great customer service! Great job ladies!”

“We love our local Market Basket, always have! Great selections, produce, and always seem to find someone who can help. I cannot say enough good things about the Bakery and Deli/Kitchen sections. We had our kid's birthday party catering from the kitchen--just simple trays of sandwiches and wraps and we got so many compliments. Can't beat the price and service is excellent!”

“I was ignorant that Aldi has some really good food items. I even buy non food merchandise sometimes. Only little problem is the card reader, if you type your code at the same time it is asking you for cash back, it will select an amount of cashback. Other than that I love to stop there.”
“This Market Basket has a great selection of Spanish spices and similar items because of the local population. Everything I've ever needed has been readily available, and the staff is always willing to lend a hand.”

“Market basket, is a step above other super markets. I there prices and food selections comparable to other supermarkets, but there kitchen is what sets them apart. From other supermarkets. Unfortunately market basket kitchens are not available in there older stores.”

“Smaller setup than the typical Hannaford, I would recommend this for people who can't handle large stores with lots of walking. The variety of items to choose from was excellent, and they were stocking fresh produce throughout the day.
Cashiers were friendly, though. I do believe they could use an extra cashier at the 1pm to 2pm slot, but maybe it was just a crazy day. We waited 15 minutes to get to the register.”

“They have some cute stuff, tbh... it's shocking. Great place for snacks that you can't really find anywhere else, either. Only downside is it's a little messy sometimes... their paper goods are never stocked, like toilet paper and paper towels. And most of the time one cashier so it takes kind of long time to get through the line... but that's okay.”

“This place is nice and clean. And I like their bagels. Every Sunday, they have a bagel sale and I always stop by to grab a bag.
Some of their products are more expensive than Market Basket, but sometimes the quality is better than MB. You just have to figure out what to buy in what stores. Normally, I shop produce and bagels here.
And they have member specials at times. If you combine that with their reward system, this place is great to get your grocery.”
