“Not only a beautiful collection of light fixtures and related merchandise in the store -- and even more in catalogs that very helpful store associates can help navigate -- but UNPARALLED customer service after the sale is made. When I attempted to replace a light bulb in a now discontinued fixture I purchased at L&SW 5 years ago (April 2018), I discovered that the supplied tool needed to take the fixture apart to replace the bulb was nowhere to be found. A call to the manufacturer was useless. I then called L&SW hoping for some guidance or idea on how to solve this problem. I spoke to Lorraine, who could not have been more patient or sympathetic. I know that she had several phone calls with the manufacturer and finally arranged for them to send me a replacement tool at no charge. I've purchased several lovely light fixtures and ceiling fans from L&SW -- all good experiences -- but this level of customer service is unfortunately not so common anymore and really sets L&SW apart and above the competition. Highly recommend!”

“As someone who loves marketplaces like Medford Mills and Columbus Farm Market, this place was no different. While there might be fewer vendors present, you'll still have various items to choose from.My only gripe with the place was that while I was looking at stuff and looking them up on my phone, the woman in the cashier area asked me if I was writing a review for my blog. I don't have a blog, but even if I did, I wouldn't do it there at the store! I felt uncomfortable with that question as I didn't know how to answer. I usually get asked the common question, "can I help you with anything."Other than that, it was a pleasant experience and something that will help malls and small businesses that don't particularly have enough products to fill a typical shop in a mall.”

Not only did Kazan ( the owner) spend plenty of time going over our options, he chose great looking fixtures which were delivered earlier than promised. When I came time for the installation, I contacted him with questions from our electricians. He answered the questions and emailed me instruction sheets for the electricians to use. My brother-in-law loves the Philadelphia Eagles, however I was having an insanely tough time finding the fabric-- yet here it was at Gaffney Fabrics! Ordering online was fast and easy. I misread the site and thought that ordering in 1 yard increments meant that it would come pre-cut, so I ordered 5 yards, but left a comment that I only needed three.Kate sent me three yards and a cash refund for the two yards of fabric I paid for but didn't need. “Such a cool variety of plants here - some I haven't seen in person before. Very excited about the polka dot begonia I got! Was given care tips, and they will write them down for you on a card too if you want. The prices are also very reasonable, especially because all of the plants are full, healthy, and clearly well taken care of.There is also the cutest shop dog named Emmett there who was so gentle and sweet. “I'm very particular about wallpaper and when I began searching for the perfect seamonster/maritime themed wallpaper I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Shortly after walking into Colonial Wallcoverings Paul got right to the point by interrogating me on my entire family lineage, why I'd been to Israel despite my not being Jewish and of course the ins and outs of the Tom Wait's back catalogue. After a brief 3 hours the deal was done and the elusive wallpaper for my new Philly pad was on its way. He even set me up with Gordon the Irish Wallpaper God for the install.I will never buy wallpaper from anybody other than Colonial Wallcoverings for else for the rest of my days.
