“We stopped at the Windrift in Avalon for a drink and delicious hummus with fresh veggies on Saturday afternoon before we drove to the Lobster House for dinner. We sat at the bar upstairs. Tyler and Ronnie provided a very nice service. The food was very good and the atmosphere is always friendly. Windrift also has a nice outdoor terrace with ocean view. We highly recommend this long time established restaurant and bar for lunch or dinner. :-)”

“Our room was fully accessible, especially after the maintenance team installed a little ramp at the front door to accommodate our wheelchair. A beach bag with towels and tags was presented after check-in and the staff was supportive and courteous throughout our stay. Also, The location was only one block from the accessible entrance to the beach!”

As a local resident looking for a place to recommend to visiting friends and family—since I don’t have the space to host them at home—I had stopped by to request a tour. What I received was far beyond anything I expected.

Noah Fox was the first to welcome me, offering a warm, genuine greeting and immediately making me feel valued. He gave me a thoughtful, individualized tour of the hotel, walking me through the property, explaining each amenity, and answering every question with clarity and enthusiasm. His professionalism, care, and natural kindness were evident in every interaction—whether with me, other guests, or fellow staff members. Noah consistently went out of his way to ensure everyone around him felt supported and well taken care of.

Tracie Lyn Evans then continued the experience with the same impeccable level of service. She provided another personalized tour, offering an in-depth look at the rooms, dining options, recreation spaces, and the overall feel of the property. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and heartfelt pride in ICONA truly stood out. I watched Tracie engage with guests and employees throughout the hotel, and her warmth, courtesy, and professionalism were unmistakable. She has a gift for making people feel welcome and appreciated.

Together, Noah and Tracie created an experience that was informative, gracious, and memorable. Their combined dedication, hospitality, and genuine care speak volumes about ICONA’s standards.
