“This is one of our favorite places to stay when in Avalon. Has an amazing Cafe and bar attached, but not affiliated that stays open late. Bike ride away from quaint specialty shops in Stone Harbour, if you like to take long walks it about about 18 blocks to the shops. A quick drive to the bar scene in Sea Isle. Two very well kept pools. Sleeps six comfortably, some downside only one bathroom and no oven, but otherwise its a great motel layout with a five star experience and feel. Highly recommend for your next vacation at the shore. It's also about a 15-20 minute drive to Wildwood and 30 to Cape May. The suites is two blocks from the beach. Love, love the Concord!”

“After an amazing dinner & drinks at the Sand Bar, my fiancee and I noticed our car battery was dead. The entire staff - from the hostess, to the front desk, security, and most importantly valet - went above and beyond in helping us get our car battery jumped and safely out of the parking lot. The men who helped the most from the valet team refused a tip to show how grateful we were.
Our time at the sand bar is always great but this time we got to see first hand what a great staff you have at your establishment. THANK YOU!”

“We stayed at ICONA Avalon for the weekend and overall had a great experience. Coming from Philly, the drive wasn’t long; the rooms were very nice, and we loved having a view of the water. The location is excellent! You’re right near the beach and just a short distance from Stone Harbor’s 96th Street, so there’s plenty to do nearby. We had lunch multiple times from the brew pub which was unexpectedly so tasty! The Avalon burger is a must!

The beginning of our stay was a little difficult when it came to dealing with Greg from valet. We found him to be overly jokey, and at times hot-tempered, which made some interactions uncomfortable. When my husband and I were trying to ask one of the employees questions about where the bar was or how the shuttle worked, Greg uninvitedly stepped into the conversation and took over even after we were trying to avoid interacting with him.

On the positive side the service was generally great. Elise at the front desk was incredibly helpful when she checked us in and made the check-in process feel easy and pleasant. She was very welcoming, and professional from the moment we arrived and took the time to make sure we understood everything we needed to know about the hotel, especially regarding the wristband room keys. Our bellboy Jeff was also wonderful and really helped bring our stay off to a great start. He was incredibly helpful, genuinely sweet, and clearly puts a lot of effort into his work. He even got our entire trunk’s worth of luggage on one cart(!) helped with turning on our fridge, and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed.”
