50 Clements Bridge Rd, BarringtonFive stars based on the beer quality, consistency, selection and to go availability. The brewer makes great pale ales like Bloom, Silent Cinema, Picnic and Eventide to name a few. The fresh hop pilsner they made a few years ago Midnight Landing was amazing. Also I love Blackbird, and I am a big fan of Parkway and Lawn Boy. They could try to make some Czech dark lagers (Tmaves) which are so hot right now and I'm sure they'd kill it.
Not Tonewood's fault at all, but enjoying beer at breweries in New Jersey is so frustrating. NJ laws prohibit food sold at breweries which means you have to eat before you go. The state is worried that restaurants will lose money if you eat a meal at a brewery. It is so annoying (I am from Pennsylvania where almost every brewery serves food). Also a 10pm close is too early especially on the weekends. If you don't make a dinner reservation by 5 or 6pm if you're in Philly, you won't make it here for beers afterwards. If you day drink then Tonewood is perfect for you.
