“The most liminal place on earth. I loved this building, especially as a tween girl in the 90s, with my parents and sibs passing by this building on Saturday nights to go back home to Staten Island after coming home from Newport Mall. GPS has that brightly lit liminality against the darkness of route 440 and route 501 (jfk blvd). I am not a customer or anything like that, but I had some nice cozy memories of this building, passing by.”

It’s a family run business and they treat their clients like family as well. Their knowledge and concern about every client, whether a big or small job never ends until the result is a happy client. “This is such a cute little shop filled with unique knickknacks and an eclectic assortment of items. I spent quite a while browsing because there was so much to look at. There were so many things I wanted to buy that I had to exercise some self-control—otherwise, I probably would have spent all my money there!
I would absolutely return. I've been in this neighborhood many times, and I can't believe I never discovered this shop until now. It's a little tucked away, so it's easy to walk right past it, but don't make that mistake. It's definitely worth stopping in.
The owner was friendly, welcoming, and available if I had any questions. Overall, it was a wonderful shopping experience, and I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.”
“We used Artistic Stone for our new countertops and backsplash in our kitchen and bathroom remodel. Not only is their work clean and their finished products beautiful, the customer service is top of the line.
Eliot specifically has been incredible to work with. He truly goes the extra mile for his clients, at every phase of planning, fabrication, installation and even after. Eliot went out of his way to help us find suppliers for a stone we loved at a price that would still work for us,
he was extremely responsive in all communication and was always accommodating to our crazy schedule, (whole home Reno being worked around) and did it all without ever missing a beat! I hope he is treated well at the shop because he is definitely an asset to the team! Will be referring whomever we can here.”

“Kabinet Depot in Newark, New Jersey, what can I say? Excellent!!!, professional personnel enjoy the conversation with Fatima who assisted in helping with the designs, appreciated all the help that they provided, quality workmanship on the cabinets and excellent personnel.
Thank you kabinet Depot for making our Kitchen shine.”
“Kevin is an absolute rockstar and one of the best salespeople I’ve ever worked with. I recently had three knives sharpened, and he got everything done in just one day.
The results were incredible. The knives came back unbelievably sharp — honestly, they felt like completely different knives compared to before. You can really tell that they take pride in their work.
Korin is easily one of the best knife sharpening services in New York, if not the entire East Coast. Fast, professional, and excellent quality. Highly recommended!”
“I come to Home Surplus for all my special order cabinets. I also get windows and interior doors from them as well. I've worked with Erikson, Louis and Louis and they've all been helpful and professional. Give Home Surplus a shot on your next job.”
“We recently had our kitchen backsplash tiled by Impressive Restoration. It was truly one of the best experiences we have had working with a contractor! Leo was communicative and reliable, and the finished project looked great. We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend Impressive Restoration to others!”
“i would like to say i called up this coastal at new dorp for the fact they had a specific outdoor main valve, i called to confirm and the manager at this location was very professional and gave his time without hesitation to inform me that they have it . when i arrived it was there waiting for me .he was well mannered and and i told him i,m a member in a large congregation church and I'm looking for service like this to make my plumbing projects easier so i proposed to opened an account with this coastal store even though there is another one closer to my business but they lack the patience and expertise in helping a novice they just cater to the professional probably regulars there”
“As someone who works long hours, I didn’t have time to manage contractors or chase deliveries, which is why choosing NYKB ended up being the right decision for our kitchen renovation.
Maia helped us redesign a very small Manhattan kitchen that had almost no storage. She focused on functionality first, which I appreciated. Every cabinet has a purpose now, appliances fit perfectly, and the workflow actually makes sense.
Gevanta managed the construction and scheduling, and what stood out to me was how proactive he was.
Also, what I liked about them is that materials were already ordered and stored before demolition started, which avoided delays that friends of mine experienced with other contractors.
There were building inspections, shutoffs, and coordination with neighbors that I barely noticed because NYKB handled everything behind the scenes.
The kitchen looks beautiful, but more importantly it works incredibly well every day.”
“I came in to troubleshoot how to attach the supply for my bidet toilet seat at the wall because the toilet tank inlet and the water supply at the wall were directly on top of each other. The gentleman at the counter was super helpful and got me exactly the piece I needed very quickly. Great service.”
“Well, i'm saying I loved it, but I haven't received my order yet. However their customer service is the best. Especially if you get to speak with Glenda! She asked me my problem and she answered me back the next day as soon as she found out and not only that, but she found a resolution for my problem too.”
“Staple in the neighborhood with a huge stock- if you don’t see it, ask and they will help you find it. Hard to find beautiful Italian imports and great gifts for family.”
“I recently renovated my mother's kitchen as a surprise for her while she was away on a trip. I bought all cabinets, counter top, and sink from Sterl. I was on a tight timeline to get the kitchen completed before she returned. I worked with Anthony, who was very patient and helpful as I tried to decide what style and color scheme I wanted to select. He also helped to make sure the deliveries were made on time to allow my contractor to complete all construction before my mother returned. As a family run business, I also interacted with Anthony's sister Teresa and father Anthony Sr. - they were all so great and treated me like family. The products are good quality and the customer service is exemplary. I plan to use Sterl again when we are ready to renovate my mother's bathroom. Highly recommend!”
“Our experience with Exclusive Home Interiors was fantastic!I gave some complex functional requirements and a long wish list and I got the kitchen of my dreams! The attention to detail, responsiveness, and follow-through was impressive. Aside from a beautifully designed kitchen with really cool cabinets to enhance efficiency and space, it was done in time. I cannot say enough good things about Exclusive Home Interiors, and neither can all the family and friends who've now seen our new kitchen.Services: Custom kitchen cabinet construction”

The result is my dream kitchen — elegant, functional, and complete with all the bells and whistles. I couldn’t be happier.”
“We use them all of the time for our projects. They have the best prices on tile, saddles, metal trims, and other tile/building materials. Amy is the best and delivery is always on time!”

“After shopping around and comparing the prices, I have decided to go with Super Stone. This place not only has the best prices, but the best options and most importantly, best Customer Service. Jeff was absolutely amazing: professional, attentive, skillful and caring. First place where I felt like my renovation was not only my problem:) he listened to my concerns, responded immediately and delivered the best service. Installation team and Jose arrived on time, and installed the counter top according to the agreement. Not only that, they made sure it fit perfectly. My waterfall is beautiful, real craftsmanship! I have impeccable kitchen thanks to Super Stone. Look no further, this place is the best.
(Jeff also helped me find bathroom threshold that matched my bathroom tile as if it was the same material- if you are renovating the bathroom, you know what i am talking about:)

“We had a wonderful experience getting our countertops and tiles from Galactic! From our first visit to the showroom, Tommy was helpful in getting us multiple samples and Yan kept everything running smoothly for delivery and install. The quality of the countertop and tiles is fantastic and their prices are very reasonable. We are so happy with our decision to work with Galactic and would absolutely recommend them.”
“absolutely amazing service. I needed a part that was sold out all over the U.S. They didn't have it but they put me in contact with another distributor who did! They took the time to look and give me a call back.”

“Lev designed and managed our bathroom remodeling project. We are happy to recommend Bath Expo. Working with Lev was great. As a designer and contractor, he was flexible, communicative and responsive. I'm so glad we chose him to transform our bathroom! It was a gut renovation in an awkwardly shaped bathroom. Tub came out, a mud-job shower was added. New lighting. Great tiling job. New vanity and storage unit. We're really happy with the finished outcome.”
“I'm honestly surprised by some of the reviews saying this store is understaffed or that the employees aren't knowledgeable. I've lived in the neighborhood for years, and this has become one of my go-to stores. I appreciate that it's open 24/7, and I can usually find just about anything I need, whether it's something practical for a quick home repair or a nice candle or gift.
Every time I come in, there always seem to be several employees working, and I've never had trouble finding someone who could answer my questions or point me in the right direction.
I decided to leave a review after a really thoughtful experience today. I stopped in hoping to get some advice on fixing a tripod I'd purchased on Amazon. I wasn't expecting much beyond a recommendation, but I ended up walking out with it completely repaired. Chen and another employee (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) took the time to help me, even though they were already assisting other customers. Together they figured out what was wrong, found the correct screw to secure everything, and had it working again in just a few minutes.
They didn't charge me a thing, they simply wanted to help. That kind of customer service is becoming harder to find these days, and I truly appreciated the extra effort. Their kindness made my day, and it's one more reason I'll continue shopping here.”

“I can go on and on….and I might….about Pietro!! I met with him at his showroom to discuss renovating my very old bathroom. Pietro is a very personable guy with a big personality. He was so helpful to me with my selections! Pietro offered his expert opinions with not only my bathroom renovation but other things that have beautified my home. I ended up with all new beautiful doors and closet doors that look fantastic!! Pietro showed up every day to make sure everything was going smoothly. His staff of people were all great! He puts a lot of energy and time into making sure things are done right, and his client is nothing but satisfied which I truly am!! There is only one problem with my renovation coming to its end, and that is I will miss his great personality!! Pietro is the BEST!!!”
