“My custom BBQ was leaking... found out one of the custom hose fittings cracked. Ordered a new custom hose but the manufacturer screwed up on the size of the fitting. Went to General Plumbing Supply and the guys in the plumbing department were very helpful in figuring out what I could use to get my hose to work. Took a couple of minutes... but came back with a series of pieces and they showed me what I needed to get it to work.”

“Wise Choice Professionalism Performance Perfection In February I met with Paul owner of Clean Sweep Contracting to repair house. My heating and plumbing pipes broke this past winter and damaged one side of my house. After speaking with many companies and contractors I decided to go with Paul. “We got our kitchen floor redone by Casale. Everywhere we went it was an issue.. We heard all the excuses. We went to showroom picked tile, sight unseen, it was installed the following week. Professional, reliable and excellent work we where extremely pleased with end result. Don't waste your time if you need a project done right ,head to Casale tile.”

“A diamond in the ruff when you want to rent an updated van dirt cheap. Had to pick up furniture in NJ. Less than 2 hour trip. Have to place a deposit to secure the time it takes you round trip. The van was dirty because it just got back from a trip. Had to ask one of the guys to help me clean out the debris but overall an easy in and out experience. Will come back if I'm need of a van rental.”

“SI Kitchens deserves many more good reviews on Yelp, because they've been one of the best local contractors I've worked with. I could have gone with several other cabinet suppliers, but SI Kitchens were set apart by several things. First, Rodion and team provide amazing customer service and personal attention. Rod came to my house at least twice to check everything personally and was extremely caring to every detail. Second, they have a good variety of cabinet designs and will work with you to find the one that goes best with your kitchen without overpromoting something more expensive or elaborate than you want. Third, they have several kinds of basic countertop stone, but they also work with a great stone yard and can probably source just about anything that you want in terms of granite, quartzite and quartz. In my case, they went to great lengths to find a quartzite that matched my marble table and fireplace. Fourth, they were the only kitchen outfit I found that offered design service as well as providing the cabinets and countertop. I wasn't an easy customer because I had a tight space and changing ideas. I probably went through at least 4 design revisions and they were always prompt and patient. In contrast, the other places I spoke to were either relatively impersonal, expensive or uncaring. Cannot recommend SI Kitchens too highly.”

We came back to explain the issue and no questions asked a new door was ordered and hand delivered to our home. Quality of work and customer service is exceptional and happy we used canal. “Home depot will forever be crowned your go-to place for all the necessities it provides!Customer service treated me extremely politely, positively, and were patient.But unfortunately when I needed a specific tile size, they claimed they do not cut tiles which was surprising... and they did not have any matches of the sort either... so that did make my trip a bit difficultBut all in all definitely a place to stop by when needed”

“Looking for an uncommon Gebirit in-wall German flush valve. Local distributors in NJ told me "15 days, I can order it". "Any chance you got it in another warehouse"..."dunno...you can call around". Great. This is not a Home Depot item, so I called on the off chance Coastal Supply in Staten Island to see if they had a line on this valve. Called on a National holiday. They're open (refreshing). Spoke to Lou who said nada at his location, BUT LET ME CHECK THE OTHER WAREHOUSES--I'll call you back, but it may be tomorrow. Fine. True to his word, he called me back later that DAY and said they had none, but he'd check a couple of sources that weren't open. This morning, Thursday, he called and said he struck out, but led off the call with an apology for not calling YESTERDAY. You kidding...finding that level of customer SERVICE speaks volumes for a business that KEEPS IT WORD and does exactly what they say they do. You just don't find that caring much these days, certainly not in a big box store. I'm just so impressed when a business cares enough to follow up, be it good news or bad (and Lou, FYI, I sourced the valve on the west coast that a guy just happened to have in stock because a flaky customer that ordered it just...well...flaked. His loss, my gain. So if you need something, give Lou a call at the Bay Street location on the Island. Good guy, good people. Can't say enough about the followthru. Well deserved accolades!”
