One minor gripe - wasn’t in love with the catering we tried this year, however, this restaurant and their sister restaurant, Terrace
Tavern, are both excellent. Undoubtedly two of the best options on LBI.

Ship Bottom Brewery
830 N Bay Ave #23, Beach HavenThis Long Beach Island brewery gets five stars by default, as there is no competition for miles. First off the Food - they don't serve food but it's a BYOF (bring your own food)! So that solves that issue. There's also the unassuming stairway to the brewery, which is a lot easier walking up. Anyways, we came for the beer, available on tap & in convenient to go cans. I chose the Hop & Hazy IPA - a New England / Hazy 6% which I downed so quickly my taste buds demanded an encore. Quickly. There was an acoustic band with a sax player who charmed the crowd with classic rock standards. The wait and bar staff are very attentive and the brewery is small enough to make it feel intimate. So yeah, you should try it. C'mon down, there's plenty of parking and plenty of beer to go round.

306 N Bay Ave, Beach HavenReally good bagels! I got an everything bagel with chive cream cheese, and my husband got a plain bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. The bagels were fresh and had a nice chewy texture, and the chive cream cheese had great flavor. The bacon, egg, and cheese was warm, satisfying, and not greasy. Overall, everything tasted great, and I’d definitely come back. It’s such a small, cute little bagel shop

211 S Bay Ave, Beach HavenThe best ice cream you’ll find just about anywhere. The staff is super friendly. They constantly update the flavors and everything is made in house.
We also had a party for our daughter here. They got to learn how ice cream is made and then got make their very own flavors to take home. Such a great experience!!
Miss them in the off season.

325 9th St, Beach HavenI visited Gazebo Grill with my whole family, and we were all so impressed! The prices were very fair for the quality and portions, which made it a great choice for dining out as a group. The food was absolutely delicious — everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. We also noticed how quick and efficient the service was; our meals were ready in no time, which made the experience even better with kids in tow.
Overall, it was a wonderful family dining experience. Great food, fair pricing, and fast service — we’ll definitely be coming back!

1211 Long Beach Blvd, Beach HavenFor starters - egg everything bagel was on point. Breakfast sando came out quick and it looked like there was some high quality bread for subs on deck for people scouting out lunch options. I read the reviews on the poor service but at the end of the day it was simple and too the point so no complaints from me!

We stopped at Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club for lunch and had such a great experience! There was no wait, and our server Kayla was absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect.
We had the meatball parm panini, pineapple chicken sandwich, and the Sea Shell poke bowl — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A great spot for a relaxing beachside lunch — highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back!
