Pet Sitting & Training

Krushk9 Dog Training Services LLC
307 Lighthouse Dr, ManahawkinStop searching and book KrushK9 now! Seriously, this is the best money you’ll ever spend on your dog. By the time she was eight months old, our puppy, Rye, was super adorable but stubborn, had crate aversion, pulled on the leash, didn’t understand “no” and jumped on people like it was her job. She loved playing with our two senior dogs, but didn’t seem to understand boundaries. We needed help!
After contacting several local trainers, they seemed like sterile boot camps. Just when we were losing hope, we found KrushK9. Within minutes, I knew Paul was our guy. He was incredibly experienced and clearly loved dogs. Since we had a trip coming up, we opted for the two-week board and train. Paul updated us on Rye’s progress and when we picked her up, we were blown away. We joked that he must’ve cloned her because we couldn’t believe this calm, balanced, well-behaved pup was the same Rye we’d dropped off.
Not only did Rye’s behavior improve, Paul showed us how to be better dog parents. Now, Rye is a joy to take anywhere. She plays wonderfully with her senior sisters, walks beautifully on the leash, and with a simple command of “crate up!” goes happily in her crate. She doesn’t jump, understands “no” and comes when she’s called. Life-changing!
We can’t articulate how much we appreciate KrushK9 and all they have done to make our household happier. Thank you, Paul!

Living On the Veg
657 East Bay Avenue Unit 3, ManahawkinWe came to LBI and we love coming to this all vegan place! Not too many vegan options around. This is a gem. 💎
Lots to choose from and soo good! The prices are not insane and the food is fresh, flavorful and full of love. We got the olde city and avocado tempeh melt (no tomato).
We came back the next day for breakfast! Didn’t even get a pic but we got the cheesy bagels and fresh juice! 😋 It’s so wonderful to have this place to go, so close to the island.
We would definitely come back again. 👌🏻

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard
50 W Bay Ave, ManahawkinAlways has friendly staff but this location gets very busy because of its location. Orders are always correct and despite lines staff is quick. Has a nice area with a few picnic tables where you can sit down. The area is lighted by string lights. Only downside is I feel like prices have gotten high and it's right on the main road so the traffic never stops

The Boatyard
2304 East Bay Avenue, ManahawkinI always love going to the boatyard. I usually go to the prop bar and the service is always amazing! Kike and Josh are very pleasant bartenders who always have a smile on their face. Definitely recommend going to them. The service was extremely fast and drink prices are average for being down the shore! Definitely recommend the prop bar

Manahawkin Fuji72 Hibachi & Sushi
626 NJ-72 E, ManahawkinFuji is genuinly my favorite restaurant ever, and has the best hibachi I have ever had. The food is absolutely AMAZING. The only reason it is not a 5 star is due to the service. I went the other day and when it came to the check, I left a small tip. The waitress doesn't do much other than a few small things, and I am assuming the chef, and hopefully the waitress as well, recieve an actually wage. As in not relying on tips. When we were waiting for a order to go, I had a worker come up to me and basically try and pressure me into giving a bigger tip. I usually tip 20% when I go to a restaurant as I know the hardships waitresses go through, but this is a different service. Additionally it is not technically required to tip at all. Going up to the customer and trying to guilt them into a bigger tip is a horrible business practise. I'm a college student who tries to stick to a specific budget alongside that, so they should really consider everyone's situations. Amazing food though!
