Ship Bottom Brewery
830 N Bay Ave #23, Beach HavenThis Long Beach Island brewery gets five stars by default, as there is no competition for miles. First off the Food - they don't serve food but it's a BYOF (bring your own food)! So that solves that issue. There's also the unassuming stairway to the brewery, which is a lot easier walking up. Anyways, we came for the beer, available on tap & in convenient to go cans. I chose the Hop & Hazy IPA - a New England / Hazy 6% which I downed so quickly my taste buds demanded an encore. Quickly. There was an acoustic band with a sax player who charmed the crowd with classic rock standards. The wait and bar staff are very attentive and the brewery is small enough to make it feel intimate. So yeah, you should try it. C'mon down, there's plenty of parking and plenty of beer to go round.

306 N Bay Ave, Beach HavenBest bagels on the island, worth any wait. I recommend getting there early or waiting until lunch time. All of their bagels are fresh and my personal favorite is the cinnamon raisin. Their customization are also incredible.

Gazebo Grill And Sushi Bar
325 9th St, Beach HavenI visited Gazebo Grill with my whole family, and we were all so impressed! The prices were very fair for the quality and portions, which made it a great choice for dining out as a group. The food was absolutely delicious — everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. We also noticed how quick and efficient the service was; our meals were ready in no time, which made the experience even better with kids in tow.
Overall, it was a wonderful family dining experience. Great food, fair pricing, and fast service — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Breakfast sando came out quick and it looked like there was some high quality bread for subs on deck for people scouting out lunch options. I read the reviews on the poor service but at the end of the day it was simple and too the point so no complaints from me!

Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club
10 S Atlantic Ave, Beach HavenUpon numerous wedding venue visits with my fiancé, we finally decided on the Sea Shell resort in Beach Haven and couldn't be any happier with our decision. There were a few things we were looking for in our choice, including a specific date and a location where we can include our dog in the ceremony. I knew when we left that this was going to be the place given how excited my fiancé was talking about it compared to other venues. And I agreed.
We spoke with Brittany when we took our tour, and her energy alone sold me before I walked out. The Sea Shell had just about everything we were looking for in a venue. It really was a one-stop shop for the most part. We were able to walk out to the beach for our first look and bridal party pictures and also get married on the sand on their property. They included a 2 hour after party for extra celebrating and with the hotel rooms there, as well as other options nearby that eliminated the need for a shuttle bus.
They preach about their food, and I promise you, they still undersold it. It was INSANE! I am hoping more of our friends and family get married there so I can devote more time to that cocktail hour!
Seriously though, you owe it to yourself to at least check it out. They are a family owned business that takes pride in what they do. I know we made the best decision having our wedding there and we're looking forward to celebrating our first anniversary there!
