“Been here for half a year and generally pretty happy. Neighborhood isn’t at developed as downtown JC but it’s close to the PATH station so relatively easy to leave the area.
Pro: Amazing service and responsive front desk, things get fixed instantly, etc. Amenities are top notch especially with tower 3 opening.
Cons: speaking of T3… why put a quiet library/study space next to a noisy recreation room with zero sound isolation? Elevator can be slow during the peak hours which can be annoying, especially because there’s no display telling you where the elevator is.”
“The apartments took me by surprise. So many different layouts. Jasmine was so amazing she was the best! On downside the toilets are too low need to be updated asap!”

The property is maintained well and you cannot beat the amenities or location! Kameel, the maintenance guy, introduced himself immediately and is readily available whenever I have questions. Everyone from the leasing office to the concierge team has been friendly and helpful. I couldn’t be happier about my decision to rent here.”
“Veronica and Lydia are key to keeping the SHCV running effectively and smoothly. Their wonderful personas and incredible attention to detail were vital to achieving my ability to move in successfully. Their oversight of every aspect of the community is vital. They know every resident and their apartments. With respect to maintence, they are also excellent at ensuring communications if there is a glitch. Jamie, Edwin, and Erik manage maintence and assisting residents with everything to from accidentally locking oneself out - to actual maintence of the property and within the residence. I experienced a leak under my sink, and it was fixed immediately and completely. I locked myself out, and was thankfully able to get back in. I truly hope they are recognized by Management for all they do.”
“Renewing our lease with Metro Meridia for the 3rd year. So far we have enjoyed living here. Maintenance requests have been attended to and issues get fixed right away.
The only drawback we have is our apartment is above the gym, and tenants who workout are sometimes not mindful with the loud sound created when weights are dropped on the floor. It keeps us awake late at night or awakens us too early in the morning.
Some tenants do not clean after their pets that urine and feces are left at the stairwell, and left for the cleaning staff to clean.
Overall, our experience with the MetroMeridia has been great, despite the very slow elevators. Communications to tenants have been timely.”

“When I needed a new light bulb for my surface light underneath the microwave they were out of bulbs but assured me that they would order them right away and I'd have it within 2 days. Voila 2 days it was installed. So now I have no excuse for not making a good meal because I can't see ?”

“I've been living in the building a little over a month now and it has been great! The move was seamless. From application to move in arrangements, Management staff has done a great job welcoming me to the building - cookies were a sweet bonus! All furniture delivery arrangements have been fast and easy. The concierge staff is always friendly and helpful. The few concerns I've had have been addressed promptly with follow-up check-ins. So far, it's an amazing building to live in!”

“Just the most cozy spot in the area to raise a family. Coupled with a quick commute to the city this is perfect for us. Lots of daycares nearby and friendly neighbors too. The building also has a fitness center, community center and always has some activity going on. Lovely paths to go for a walk with kids as well.”
“Main course of choice, soup of the day, plus soda all delivered to my house for $12 left $3 tip for total of $15 absolutely amazing! It was delicious! My new daily lunch!”

“Love living here, we moved in August and we couldn’t be happier about our choice. The location, units, and having Whole Foods in the lobby are excellent factors but it’s the people here who really make this place shine. Jamal, the building manager, is extremely hard working and responsive. The engineering staff, Hakim + Adam are very intelligent, quick to sort out any problems, and very trustworthy. The housekeeping staff is great, there’s an elderly gentleman who’s always diligently cleaning (I’m kicking myself for forgetting his name). The entire security team is outstanding, special shout out to Reggie who always has a kind word to say but truly they’re all fantastic. The head security guard (he’s more frequently toward the Whole Foods end) is very astute, friendly, and does his job extremely well. The parking manager Joseph Navarro is also very helpful and friendly. The building is lucky to have such a great staff because that’s a huge part of what makes living here feel like a safe happy home.”

“I have lived at the apartment complex for several years. It is very family oriented and welcoming to young children. The staff is very responsive and respectful. They listen to your concerns and act quickly. The property manager if fair in applying the rules. Overall, I enjoy living there.”
“My husband and I lived at Wayne Village for 12.5 years. We moved away for 2.5 years but wanted to come back to Wayne. The only place we considered living at was Wayne Village. Joe, in the leasing dept walked us through every detail and was with us every step of the way. Every phone call, every e-mail, Joe took care of. The maintenance dept is fantastic. They can fix anything and they are on-site 24 hrs a day for emergency purposes. A special shout out to Miguel whom we have known for years. If you are considering renting an apartment in Wayne, you need to check out Wayne Village. Wayne Village makes us feel like we're home again.”
“It will be 3 years in July living here & I have really enjoyed living here . However, at least 4 months ago the water temperature in my shower has been very inconsistent. I have had maintenance here and also called several times because water temperature is not good. Taking a cold shower at night and especially in thr morning is not fun.”
“I lived here almost two years . I love this place they take care of the property and your apartment, the response time is almost immediately,. During the awful winter they kept the roads clean , plus our front steps shoveled and salted. I would recommend this apartment complex .”

“Great building, lobby and laundry rooms are always clean, and the garage is attached to the building which was a plus for me. Andrew was my leasing agent and he is very responsive. He helped me move in right away. Smooth transition moving in. Quiet building. There’s no doorman even better, I haven’t had a problem with that. I haven’t had a package stolen. Good neighborhood. Love the finishes and flooring in the apartment. Not sure what’s up with the bad reviews, people like to complain when they don’t get what they want & try to push people away from a good building. If you’re on the edge about moving in, just do it !”

“One of architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's masterworks hidden in plain sight in Newark NJ. Construction started in 1958 and the building opened in 1960. Lovely Miesian exterior in beautiful setting close to Branch Brook Park. It would be great to see the building being restored to its former architectural glory. The nearby Pavilion Towers were also designed by Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969) and offer the opportunity to see three original Mies buildings in close proximity.”
“Soho's management team has been wonderful to work with. They take your issues as a resident seriously. I had an issue with my dishwasher that Samantha resolved quickly, and a separate issue that Julian resolved effectively.
Giselle and Quann at the front desk are wonderful. Always warm and welcoming. Chris from maintenance is another friendly face that always helps in any way he can.
In addition to everyone's commitment to being kind and making the lofts feel like home, the complex itself is just beautiful and I find myself using the amenities often. I absolutely love living here.”
