“What a huge store! The variety of girls' clothing is amazing. My granddaughter chose 6 or 7 great shorts outfits for summer. I picked up king sheets for my bed from the Drew Barrymore collection and they are cotton perfection, keeping us cool all night.”

“Love, love, love this place! We went to visit my aunt in Mountain Lakes and were excited to grab something for dinner here. I ended up grabbing us a couple of sandwiches, a super yummy superfood salad, carrot cake slice and tiramisu. A sandwich for supper might not sound great but if it from Kings, it is. I had a turkey and Swiss on a pretzel roll and the meat was Boar’s Head. I love their pretzel buns. Yum! I cannot tell you the last time I ate tiramisu this good. Yum! I cannot recommend this store enough.”

“Update: meat department is growing its assortment to the better. Bakery is very thin lately, lots of sold out positions. Staff at the deli area are very, very friendly. Some days are strange, the produce section looks like Covid is back. Just empty...

Older: Prices are very good. Always a great deal on chicken or pork.
Bakery has improved greatly. Overall Assortment improves frequently.

Managers are great, had a price issue with a turkey, he honored the ad without a fuss. We'll be back weekly.

No paper for bagging, plastic bags are very, very thin.

Update: the produce section was remodeled. Looks good. Not sure why they had to move everything from the left and place on the right. I was so used to walking in with a routine and now I'm out o'wack.
Produce prices went up but they've been very good for a long time.

Other prices are rising but again they have held them down for a long time. Kudos for that.

If you join the club and shop deals you can really save money. I create my menu's according to what I bought fresh and on a deal.

Store stock levels continue to improve but every so often many shelves are empty. I'm attributing this to sales starting on Thursday and by Sunday afternoon products are sold out. I'll assume this store just can't hold that much backup stock. Denville store seems to have more on the shelves but, I don't know the sales volume of each store. I'll have to check Denville on a Sunday.

After reviewing prices in several supermarkets, I must say the quality and price at Acme beats the competition.

Stock levels holding well. Holidays still put a large dent in inventory but they recover in several days.

Inflation has finally taken a large bite out of the discounts. Prices have gone up in many departments now. But, if you can shop opportunistically and just shop the weekly ad or the specials they send you from being a member, you can still walk out with 25 - 35 % discount on your order.

Saw an employee removing green mold strawberries from their containers and filling the container with strawberries from another container that had green mold berries to make a complete container. What about the contact that the bad berries made with the container and other berries. Is this a legitimate process that farms and stores do?

I'm not buying anything that is open and not sealed.”
