“This is by far the best course given in New Jersey. Very relaxed atmosphere but yet stern, strict and serious counseling and teaching. Jade and Scott make an excellent team and their experience makes the course much more rewarding. I really recommend this course!”
“My daughter's dance recital was there today, and we also go every year to see the Nutcracker in December as it is the only theatre in NJ with a live orchestra, which allows us to experience the flavor of Broadway without going into Manhattan. The theatre is beautiful and was recently renovated, and the staff there is friendly and helpful.”
“My dog Molly passed away 5/17/26 And they went to Somerset regional rescue to deliver frozen food. That was Molly's To honor her. They were very kind and greeted me with complete respect. They even came to the car to pick it up. I will go back to look at other rescues when I am done grieving. Thank you Somerset regional for taking Molly's food. I hope it makes many doggies happy. ?”
“Went here for the Night Owl Market they have select Saturdays & Sundays in October, November, and December. Very cool selection of vendors and food trucks. Prices are reasonable, and a good selection of unique items to get as Christmas/holiday gifts such as handmade art and jewelry, books, comics, baked goods, and even some games and toys. Chill vibe with live music. I especially liked the book truck. Outdoor market, so very dog friendly! ?”

“Brite Nites was fantastic! The themes were really fun, and there is a spaceship scene that is phenomenal. A contractor working for the arboretum actually built it! There is also a fun area at the end of the walk for kiddie carnival games (corn hole, etc). I thought it was really well done. Of course nowhere as large as The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze, but a great local alternative and the ticket cost goes to the arboretum as this is an annual fundraising event.”

“The salvation army provides meals on various days for the homeless people in the community as well as providing clothing and other offerings for these individuals the salvation army is a great addition to the community and helps the community with both food and spiritual offerings. Anyone looking for assistance can find it here at the salvation army located on Watchung Avenue in Plainfield”
“The Berkeley Heights YMCA is great. I’m very comfortable there. Staff is very friendly and the facility is immaculate. It’s not overwhelming like other places. The fact that everything is only a few years old is icing on the cake.”

“This is an incredibly well designed building in this very vibrant neighborhood. The center of Jewish life at Rutgers University. RU Hillel serves Jewish students. I have not visited the cafe but I heard it is amazing. There is an amazing exhibit at the front of the building. It is a Mezuzah made from the remnants of an Iron Dome missile!”
“One of the best cat rescues in the area by far. I adopted the sweetest and most loving cat from S.A.R.A in 2023, and they made the process feel welcoming and easy. The cat, Misty, was in great health when I adopted her, and continues to be even after almost two years of having her! I don’t agree with the bad reviews calling S.A.R.A “strict” with their adoption process, they only want the best homes for their cats. Bonnie is very knowledgeable and helped me and my family throughout the entire adoption process. This rescue is phenomenal.❤”
“I highly recommend the Somerville YMCA. The staff there is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they offer a wide range of excellent exercise programs. The updated facility is also very nice.”
“Rented the hall for a big party & it was amazing, we had a great time! Ray & the rest of the staff & patrons are super nice and accommodating. The space is clean & spacious enough for nearly 80 people. Would definitely rent again for future occasions!”

“I Can't say they ruined my life.... I was ruining my life, i was on my own self destructive path. I actually ran away from this facility and was gone for 1 week until my case worker had to come get me and take me back, I successfully completed the program and then moved on to one of there independent living residences in Phillipsburg it was great, but DCF closed my case 2weeks before i turned 18 and i was kicked out due to lack of coverage and what not but overall understanding staff and willing to help if your willing to try to do better.im 37 now and am married and live a good life it is all about choices and learning from mistakes. nothing is perfect but just take it easy it could be worse your alive strive to want better!!!!Take chances think before you do or say things. Have faith over fear Our biggest problems are ourselves we have to learn to love ourselves and stop blaming others or the past its called a past leave it there . the fear to believe we deserve good after so much bad . Its a program but you got to want it they are giving you tools don't be stubborn to be aware is to survive. Trust is rare but give it the benefit of the doubt what do you have to lose if you haven't already lost yourself family or regular life. if you want better you have to do the work stop blaming others for problems that lie within us we are the key to our own healing and growth Faith over Fear”

“Ive been in New Brunswick for almost 4yrs now and have been to the Salvation army for many different reasons and no matter what the reason was that i needed help they have always been willing to help in any way possible and did it with a smile...i cant Express how thankful i am that they have been there for me...they have truly been a blessing....ive helped out ringing bell for them for the Christmas season and Loved doing it. Right now im layed up with a broken knee and unable to get there for groceries so out of the kindness of their hearts they are bringing them to me until i can get surgery....i wish i could win the lottery so i could help them to help others...please dont stop doing all the good your doing and i pray God continues to bless you and all that you help.”
“Excellent location! One of the few Goodwills I’ve been to that actually has a decent selection of housewares, not just clothes. I really appreciate that everything is color coordinated. Everyone does a great job of keeping the store tidy and the staff is incredibly friendly and personable - special shoutout to Linda! Such a patient and kind person. I always end up with a clothing haul I’m really happy with. Also, bonus points that they have a fitting room, not many of them do these days.”
