“Amazing experience at Thunder Road books on Small Business Saturday. It's so refreshing to visit a legitimate mom & pop bookstore. The service was incredibly personal and the whole staff's passion for books was so clearly evident. The store itself is very intimate and beautifully designed. They have a great staff recommendation list which was excellent to use for Christmas gifts and they were super helpful when I inquired about a hard to find book I was interested in. The owner himself got involved with the search! They could not have been any more polite and hospitable. The small size and personal touches are what makes this local business one I will visit again and recommend to others. Bonus points for all the great Danny Clinch photos on the walls!!!”

“Love coming for storytime with my kids, most of the staff is so nice and understanding when it comes to all the small children. Unfortunately the woman who reads the stories is rather rude and has very little patience when it comes to the kids making it less enjoyable for them.”
