“Amazing experience at Thunder Road books on Small Business Saturday. It's so refreshing to visit a legitimate mom & pop bookstore. The service was incredibly personal and the whole staff's passion for books was so clearly evident. The store itself is very intimate and beautifully designed. They have a great staff recommendation list which was excellent to use for Christmas gifts and they were super helpful when I inquired about a hard to find book I was interested in. The owner himself got involved with the search! They could not have been any more polite and hospitable. The small size and personal touches are what makes this local business one I will visit again and recommend to others. Bonus points for all the great Danny Clinch photos on the walls!!!”

“Very nicely laid out. Relatively well stocked. Maneuvering some areas were a little tricky. The cashier was very nice. It was nice to see a Cafe with ample seating. The barista was helpful and patient with me, a newbie to the Starbucks world. Because B&N owns the Starbucks Cafe. you are supposed to get reward points if you're a member, per the cashier. Once already hone, I noticed I did not receive any points for my Cafe purchases. I don't live nearby the store but will try and get the points if I visit this store again.”
