“I happened upon The Boarding House and it was such a treat! The quiet location was far enough away from the crowded parts of town, but still close enough to visit by foot. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. I appreciated amenities such as free bike rental and happy hour with local wines and brews. The staff could not have been and kinder or more accommodating. I will definitely be back!”

“This is our 4th year at blue Fish and it does not disappoint. The rooms and entire place is spotless. Seriously not a cobweb or a leaf to be found. The pool is amazing, the towels are plentiful, the outdoor shower is to die for and the proprietors are helpful and kind. It's a far walk to the beach but there is a ton of free parking a block away from the beach AND you get passes for free chair and umbrella rentals which is amazing. Probably about a 1-12 minute walk into town. We already booked for next year!”

“I had a chic weekend and from the moment we arrived this past Friday until we left Sunday, every staff member we met could not have been nicer.
Checking in was a breeze with staff who were funny and accommodating. Going to the beach - staff helped us with chairs and an umbrella was the nicest and easy go person. Our air conditioner was loud - viola they replaced it with a brand new air conditioner quiet as a mouse. HELLO - customer service over the edge. Our room as impeccable and clean. Every time we turned around staff were helping, cleaning or on the move to help someone.
Want to stay in Cape May in a clean, inviting room with every detail met - even roses made on the end of the toilet paper and more. This place is a must stop - every detail is welcomed and unexpected surprises at every turn .”

“Carroll Villa hotel was the picture perfect small town b&b, offering all the charm of a gilmore girls episode with the addition of the beach being less than a 5 minute walk away. The room I stayed in was beautiful, with plenty of room and a quiet atmosphere.
The charm doesn't stop at the hotel, with the Mad Batter restaurant serving up some of the best chocolate chip pancakes I have ever tasted, and a menu that offers something for everyone. The staff were absolutely charming, warm and welcoming, making me feel like I was visiting with old friends. Manning their front desk were some of the sweetest people, offering warm smiles and welcomes, and help whenever needed. If I ever visit cape may again, I will be booking this hotel, and spreading the word to my friends and family!”

“We stayed in Suite 301 at Wilbraham Mansion for our minimoon (8/30–9/1), and it was absolutely lovely! The staff were so kind and welcoming, and breakfast was always such a treat. We especially enjoyed the afternoon tea offerings — one day there were brownies, another day a delicious blueberry cake.
The jacuzzi in our suite was definitely the highlight of our nights, and we loved being able to relax there after a long day. While most people probably skip the pool since the ocean is nearby (and some suites have jacuzzis), we actually enjoyed having it almost to ourselves. It’s a great indoor pool that goes down to 7–8 feet — a rare find and such a fun option when the ocean is too chilly.
Parking was always convenient. Sometimes we parked on the street, but there was always a spot, and it’s right next to a CVS if you need anything last minute. They also provide beach chairs and bikes to borrow, which made exploring the area so easy.
This place really had everything we needed, and it was always such a joy to come back to our cozy suite after a full day out. We’d absolutely recommend Wilbraham Mansion and can’t wait to come back!”

“Congress Hall is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever been to it reminds me of back in the day when everything was actually built to great standards and customer service mattered. The pool is beautiful. The interior is gorgeous. The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend it for you and your family. It reminds me of what it was like as a kid to have a good time. That’s hard to find these days. A+ from me.”

“In August, I need a hotel room to spend the night after a 24 hour offshore bird and whale watching trip. Sea Crest Inn was one of the only hotels in Cape May that had a room available on the short notice and at what was, for a hotel in Cape May during the tourist season, a very reasonable price with no minimum stay. (For reference, some hotels in Cape May can cost over $1,000 per night with a two night minimum during the summer.) Two days before the trip, the operator pushed back the departure by a day. Not only was the staff at Sea Crest Inn able to change my reservation on such short notice, they only charged the difference in rates between the two days, rather than charging me for both nights. Then, on the day of the tour, the staff went out of their way to facilitate my late check-in, they made sure I was aware how to do so when no desk staff were on duty. And to top it off, they demonstrated a knowledge of the kind of tour I was on and were understanding throughout. From now on, I will be staying here whenever I take a pelagic tour.”
“As expected with an older bed-and-breakfast, this is not a modernized experience. The room had a queen bed, which you can only tell from the pictures so maybe some more detailed description on the room would be nice ahead of time because we are both tall and sleep a little crooked :-) parking included with your stay. The Wi-Fi never worked. We had to use the hotspot on our phone, which was unfortunate because we had to do a little bit of business work. You can walk to everything from here within a 1/2 mile, which was great. It’s in the middle of season so of course the prices are a little up there in August. Staff keeps to themselves. The daily cookie offering included is very nice. A little upscaling on the breakfast would be good :-) we would come again.”
“Great staff, location and rooms. Part of the Star's amenities, is there use of all of CongressHall. Pool, pool side bar, beach chairs, umbrellas bike rentals. Easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping.”

“The room was nice the beds were comfortable obviously off season maybe that's why the rest of the place kinda looks just ok. But the front desk was nice. Only thing I didn't like was before check out time the house keeping just opened the door because we were in the living room and shower. I feel like unless you someone checks out you shouldn't knock on the door an hour before check out...”
“The Rusty Nail has always been our favorite bar in Cape May, it’s where we had a welcome party for our wedding, and so we decided to stay here for our 10-year wedding anniversary. Rooms have few frills but that wasn’t important to us - can’t beat the location, right next to beach, with pool for kids, and can walk right down to the restaurant. Plan on making this an annual tradition - not sure why we didn’t sooner!”
“The location is fantastic!
The motel is out dated and the pool is freezing for early September.
Would I stay here again? No, but it was a nice trip.”
“The Empress of Cape May welcomes her guests as if they were royalty! Be ready to feel pampered, and savor the experience! Beyond beautiful with her outstanding architecture and decor… Ample space for our large family of three generations…. Perfect location close to the beach, shopping, etc. The owner, Jason, got back to us immediately if we had a question. Highly recommend The Empress of Cape May!!”

“These pictures do not do justice the property looks way nicer than the pictures the staff even better Payton seems like she knows every single thing there is to know about this location we were here for a funeral and were local to the area the welcome that she showed my family was beautiful thank you so much for having a brand new landscape and beautiful rooms”

“What a lovely experience it was to stay here! It’s adults only, laid back, clean, and cozy with beautiful antique charm, and unique elegance. It’s perfect for people who like to mind their own business, and enjoy an antique feel in a gorgeous historic hotel. Union Park dining room is a fabulous restaurant, definitely make use of the discount token provided by the hotel! The bagel time place is so-so, but it doesn’t matter because everything is in walking distance of here! It’s smack dab in the middle of everything you’d want to explore in Cape May, and right across the beach. We really enjoyed the ocean view room, and our stay was brilliant. Staff was friendly when needed, but definitely not overly cheery or bothersome. Also, yes, it’s *definitely* haunted!”

“I love coming to The Grand. It hosts the perfect beach getaway. The rooms are beautiful, redone and clean. The facility itself is also beautiful. Indoor (saltwater) pool. Outdoor pool. Both are of decent size. There is a large room selection. They have ocean view with semi-private balconies with rocking chairs. Semi - private allows a breeze when you are out there, instead of being walled in. They also have pool view rooms which are more cost conscious, as well as a couple other room styles. The proximity to the beach is unmatched - right across the street. I consider it to be within walking distance to the Washington Street Mall (about 15 min). I really love this place and have no desire to try other hotels. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.”

“We had a hiccup while checking in, but the staff handled it beautifully and extremely accommodating. Jill did her best to resolve the situation and ensure our stay was beyond enjoyable.
Sydney on the staff quickly became an integral part of our stay and someone our entire family looked forward to seeing each day. All of the staff members were so amazing and kind, by the end of our stay they knew each of our children by name and made our stay feel extremely special. We plan to return to this hotel every year.”

“I’ve been staying here for years, and Patty always makes Cape May feel like home. She truly cares about her guests, and in a recent situation with unexpected, difficult circumstances, she went above and beyond to show kindness and support. You don’t often find that kind of genuine hospitality anymore. Between the perfect location, the view from the deck, and the familiar welcome every time, this is my favorite place in Cape May. Highly recommend!”
“We had a lovely last minute stay in a quiet and very clean room. We loved the nostalgic atmosphere and the quaintness of reminiscing the true Victorian era on the porches. Joey was so accommodation and service was excellent . Thank you for wonderful time!”
“Incredible vacation! We stayed with extended family and were able to secure rooms next to each other for the entire week. Ideal location and a well-kept pool area make it the perfect middle ground between the beach and activities around town. For our family, it is not a matter of IF we will stay here again, but a matter of WHEN”

“We had our wedding reception at the La Mer/Pier House this November, and it was truly the best day of our lives. From the very beginning, the team made everything effortless. We first met Kristina during the booking process, and she was fantastic—warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient as she showed us the venue multiple times. Her professionalism and kindness made us feel instantly confident in our choice.
From there, we worked with Gab, who was an absolute dream to collaborate with. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and genuinely sweet personality made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. She thought of everything, answered every question, and brought such a calming presence to what can often be a hectic time.
On the day of our wedding, Gab and the team exceeded every expectation we had. Walking into the reception room for the first time took our breath away—everything was more beautiful than we could have imagined. We also used several of La Mer’s recommended vendors, and each one was exceptional.
We are endlessly grateful to Gab for helping us create a day that was not only seamless, but truly magical. If you’re considering La Mer/Pier House for your wedding, we couldn’t recommend it more. A heartfelt 5 stars!”
“My wife and I recently stayed at the beautiful Mason Cottage. This was our fourth time staying with Eric and Rochelle. Breakfasts are a culinary delight. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We would not consider staying anywhere else as the Cottage feels like coming home. Eating breakfast on the porch is a delightful way to start the day. Looking forward to booking another stay with our friends at the Mason Cottage.”
