“Today I came in to return a pair of Vince Camuto flats. The employee who assisted me at the register was Marie ( Black lady, short bob wig with an accent)
Marie most certainly needs training on customer service ASAP.
When I walked up to the register, I don’t recall if she spoke first or not however I said “ hello, I’m here for a return” . At that time she paused and just starred at me…She then apologized and said that she thought there was “more to the sentence” . She mentioned that she was expecting me to say “but” and finish their sentence as she paired that with a chuckle….I then gave her the receipt and shoes and confirmed that the shoes were just too tight. She inspected the shoes as she should then asked when had I purchased them. I confirmed that I bought the shoes just 24hrs prior, at that time she asked if I was sure ….i confirmed and tried looking at the receipt that was on the table to search for the date and time. She then goes on to tell me my receipt does not match and continued to look at the receipt and shoe. There’s no eye contact or communication, she was more so talking to herself. She proceeded with the return and explained that she assumed the price of the shoe would be at least a few hundred dollars instead of the $39 discount price…..She clearly assumed that I had switched tags or was trying to scam her in someway and was very direct in treating me as such. I have never had a bad experience at this location however she completely turned me off from shopping here.
I work in hotel sales so I take customer service very seriously, not only when I’m at work but just in every day interactions so I couldn’t understand how she felt her actions were within Nordstrom standards. Also, if she was educated in brands, she would know that Vince Camuto shoes are often discounted for very affordable prices even in Burlington Coat Factory so her comment that she assumed the price should be in the high hundreds confused me but hey. ??♀️”
“I spent all day shopping and have said happy holidays to everyone I spoke to and no one said it back or showed me much kindness but when I stopped in and spoke with the cashier Erin she showed me so much kindness it just kinda made my day and I just appreciated the interaction. okay bye”

“DO GO TO THIS FIVE BELOW- to be clear we’re talking about five below in the shopping center next to the pet store, wegmans etc.
During the busiest time of year, the team at this Five Below went above and beyond. Between nonstop calls about sold-out viral toys and crowds searching for Pokémon cards, they still treated me with genuine kindness and care.
What really got my attention to take time and write this positive review- was the manger at this store. (I would put her name, but I know I might butcher it so I will just call her C.)
This entire team deserve a raise but the manager here- 100% deserves a PROMOTION and a raise.”
