“Elegant decoration of the common areas, comfortable room and bed, and excellent service. We arrived late in the night and there are tea, coffee and even fruits(oranges) available which made us feel at home. Hot breakfast was provided. The room we stayed is not large but very comfortable. The owner must be very considerate as the carpets on the stair ways and rooms are very thick so that there was no noice at all for an old historical house. Will stay again if in the area.”

“Recently stayed here with my kids sports team the skulls. Hotel is very clean, they are in the process of remodeling but tbh it wasnt needed. We have stayed here before and love it. The rooms are big, the staff is amazing and the hotel is perfect for our group. Cant wait to stay here again. We have stayed at other hotels in the area for other sports teams and this one is by far one of the cleaner and more modern for the money.”

“Wife and I slept well, we stayed for two nights. The only complaint that can be made about room 344 ( second to last door on the top floor, right side of the building) is the flag pole. I sleep with earbuds, but could hear it during thr day. Something was hitting against the metal of the pole it was attached to. High winds yesterday, so that would explain it. Breakfast smelled great, like eggs and bacon kinda breakfast. Didn't try it, woke up to late. The older black gentlemen from Massachusetts who checked us in has a great sense of humor, love that guy.”

“Stayed in room with king size bed. Room is big, plenty of space and very felt closed in. Climate control is excellent. Spacious bathroom with great walk-in shower....even the showerhead is mounted high that my tall 6'5 frame can stand underneath and get drenched. Free breakfast is pretty good with choices like hot oatmeal, cereal, waffles (maybe pancakes, I don't remember), mini cheese omelette or scrabble eggs, meats (sausage or bacon) and potatoes. Please do not snack/nibble/sample food in the serving area. Nice lady running the buffet is there to remind you to have manners and eat at one of many available tables in the dining area. ?Rooms: Large, spacious with shower for very tall (over 6'2) people.”

“The staff was amazing all of them. The 2 bartenders made me whole night. So personal able & even the guy behind the desk. The wings the bartender made were the best wings I've ever had. If you're in the area please stay here. I didn't like that they only have 2 suites in the whole building but the staff made up for that. Loved them. Thinking of taking a trip back just for those wings and to chill with the 2 bartenders.”

“The motel is completely fine. The beds are clean and comfortable. The floor was dirty and stained in some places. There was also a bit of dirt in the bathroom. The balcony was really cool.However, it was quite loud at night as other guests communicated loudly in the outdoor area.The rooms were also quite large. The bathroom was huge. I don't know why there was so much space in there but it was cool.”

“My first stay was great and my second visit was horrible. My suite I rented with double beds... the first bed was extremely nasty. My tub jets were broken. When we went to lay in the first bed this is what we saw. I was given gloves and new linens and told sorry it would be noted....Rooms: Check out the rooms top to bottom”

“I cannot say enough good things about this place! I had always wanted to stay in a '70s love hotel, and my god these guys haven't changed it since the '70s I don't think! But the rooms are so incredible in their attention to detail, it's like they had an amazing set designer do them! We had so much fun, I was afraid that I was building it up too much in my head but absolutely not, it was even better than I imagined! Last year we stayed and Space Odyssey which was the coolest thing in the world, this year was ice cave which was also great but I don't know what would ever equal the space suite honestly... Anyway, we always tell people about it, so glad we found it, and it will always be our anniversary spot. We drive two and a half hours and couldn't be more worth it! Love love love love!!!Nearby activities: Love Steak 38 Cafe just steps away, and Jay's Elbow Room, a great dive bar that is also close by:)”
“Nice hotel, had a 2 bath 2 bed kitchen suite. It’s a unique layout as the hotel is a factory turned into a luxury hotel.Building is thick so cellular data is not good. Hotel entrance is very obscure, lobby is on the right if you’re facing the building toward the water. The only change I recommend to the hotel is to make the lobby/entrance way more bright and obvious for guests since I thought I was going to get kidnapped.”

Constantly missing luggage carousels.I came here to leave a review for the housekeeping, maintenance and breakfast staff. They offer make your own waffles, juices, yogurt parfait station, eggs, meat, potatos, and breads. They offer cereals and milks. They also have a toasting machine. Rosy and her girls go above and beyond. The housekeeping girls are amazing too. They offer breakfast with your stay from early morning till about 9. The girls are friendly, polite, and provide great service. We are staying for a long time. So we are seeing staff on a daily basis.Rooms: Average.Nearby activities: Not sureSafety: The facility feels pretty safe.Walkability: Walking distance from many restaurants and shopping. “I stayed at this hotel when I had to travel back & forth between states. In my opinion, the staff, maids, maintenance guys, & every employee there presented good manners & positive attitudes. They were also forthcoming if you asked for a little help, particularly towards a respectful client.Safety: There is a security guard inside the facility even though they have cameras pointing in every direction. Anytime I've come across this gentleman I acknowledge that he remains alert & shows responsibility towards his job. I know I shouldn't but on his watch I left my car unlocked numerous times.”

“I am surprised by the bad reviews at this location. My wife and I have been here since July 7th, due to water damage at our home. We are very happy with everything here. Everyone at the front desk has been great.The room is clean and comfy, bathroom and AC are fine. Our microwave went out at 10am, and it was replaced by 3pm.The head maintenance man was on top of everything. We told him the bathroom light went out, he replaced it in 10 minutes. I have recommended this hotel to others, and will be happy to stay here again.”

“I had my mom stay here around New Years. (I live close by). Price was not great but her stay was good. She said her room was immaculate and stocked fully. Her only remarks were concerning the lobby which looks like a construction zone and thought the rugs and walls in the hallways and stairwells should be updated and could use a new coat of paint. Staff was very accommodating and nice with the exception of a woman at the front desk that seemed to be bothered. Having worked for Holiday Inn for many years I know that the front desk employee should be smiling and friendly (even if you're feeling bothered). That can make or break ur decision to stay since there are other hotel options all around.”
