“Stopped here on our way out of the city and it did not disappoint. We eat Filipino food all the time in Queens but this food blew us out of the water. We ordered 2 lunch combos with rice. We tried the longganisa, beef steak, pork adobo, lechon, and spicy pork. We also tried the cabbage soup and it was amazing. Our favorite was the pork adobo. The service was great and the portions were very generous - enough for both my wife and I to eat another full meal at dinner time. We got the halo halo to end our meal and loved every bite.”

I assume he is the manager / owner since he was behind the counter. When i asked he said “is fine he will do it not to worried “ Thankfully he did. I write this review because I visit two other places prior ;one said they done had lots of work and other no tickets to complete such. “Back when I lived in the area, this place didn't exist. Boy, I'm so glad they do now! This place has been my safe haven for food for several months now. Their payment methods are: cash, credit/debit, apple/google pay and EBT when applicable (ex: no hot food). Because they are a mini market, they have groceries such as hummus, freshly cut fruit, and cleaning supplies available in a pinch. Their salads are good, smoothies are great, and guest services fantastic! In these photos, they knew my order of no cheese on the tortilla chips with my South West veggie quesadilla (eith added chicken cutlet and avocado to be fancy) really made my 13 hour shift worth it. Oh! I do recommend the vegan-esque protein cookies they have! It's not the Larry brand but another one. No other store in the area has them and I haven't seen them at any convenience stores in Manhattan.Definitely worth a try if you're not looking for a 24 hour local place!”

“Always support small town businesses, I would buy my cigarettes and milk here or whatever else I needed, I had a good relationship with the owner Petey...He would give me a tab(so does 711 next store for me) when I was between pay or went out without my wallet. However one issue...which I have heard plus others that a lot of workers from near buy gas company which gives this store approximately 80% of their business that they will not go there for lunch or snacks not even coffee anymore if the owners wife is working. She is unpleasant never smiles or says thank you or have a nice day...she is rude and very unpleasant. I'm not saying this do tona recent encounter I felt this for a very long time and heard this from many others. Hopefully this store doesn't close like the other 3 delis in our town because of many restaurants and 3 711's. Hey you have to treat your everyday or any customer with a happy attitude and a smile..not rude words and a frown all day..or they will not return..true facts”
