Every single person we worked with was perfectly accommodating, professional, and genuinely kind, making us feel completely supported throughout the entire day. Our wedding attendant, Monica, deserves the highest praise and biggest shout out— she was attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead of my needs (especially with the many outfit changes). Without her, I don't know what I would've done. My husband and I were able to relax and fully enjoy every moment without worrying about a single detail.
Our wedding coordinator, Samantha, was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process. She was organized, responsive, and incredibly helpful, guiding us with care and expertise every step of the way. Having her support made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free.
And the cocktail hour food...omg truly the best ever. It was abundant, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. We still hear our guests raving about it and telling us it was the best cocktail hour they’ve ever experienced at a wedding.
The grounds were stunning, the flow of the evening was flawless, and every detail was executed with such precision and heart. It genuinely felt like the entire team at Florentine Gardens was invested in making our wedding perfect — and they absolutely succeeded.

“I had a celebration of life memorial here for my dad. The space was accommodating for our needs. The staff was friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. I also liked that we had lots of flexibility and time with setting up and cleaning after the event. We had the space for practically an entire day. My only issue is that it took a few days to get my deposit money back. I took off one star away for that. The staff was friendly still. They apologized and fixed the issue. Other than that, it was a good experience. I’d recommend it.”
“I HIGHLY recommend RAIN. My daughter’s bat mitzvah was epic. Scott and Miriam covered every detail making it so easy and simple to throw a smooth and fun event. The DJ, emcee and dancers were incredible and had the whole crowd - from ages 2 to 52 dancing for the Bat Mitzvah girl- they just get it! And the space is so easy to customize to your own look. “My son had a cello recital here after months of cello lessons under the harmony program. This location is easy to get to and a very nice size. The restrooms were clean and the people here were nice and helpful. Be careful walking down the steps, i almost fell but it is because i am clumsy. I've also come to several concerts here like the salsa one and freestyle. Great local location for concerts and shows”

John made us feel so welcome and was so kind and informative and helpful , he was insanely flexible courteous and helpful through everything and through all the chaos . He was amazing leading up to the wedding and did a phenomenal job AT the wedding. He helped ease my mind as well as my husbands and delivered an extraordinary wedding. “This is the best VFW in the state if you’re looking for a space to rent !! Had my wedding reception here and from step 1 Jesse was nothing but helpful and excited as if I were his own daughter. He made sure the space was able to transform into my dream venue and gave us free rein over what we wanted the place to look like. The building is all freshly renovated and is honestly one of the prettiest VFWs I’ve ever seen. When the day of the wedding came everything went wrong on my end and the day was chaotic. I called to let Jesse know and he immediately had the Worlds best bartender Mike call me and assure that the night would run smoothly. Once we got there the party was on, Mike went above & beyond and my family was raving about him afterwords. VFW Lodi made my wedding day one of the best days of my life. “It's an amazing experience.When I was a kid i started to learn chachacha for a short time.And now I try to find a professioanl dance studios to keep learning the real ballroom dance.And I tried some studios,unfortunately they are all salsa or bachata styles.I am not saying salsa or bachata is not good,but I know if u know how to dance the real ballroom dance,you will exactly know how to dance salsa.And what I feel surprise is,dance with me fort lee have the basic move dance class.The teacher is sooooo details and kind.From every step ,your hips,shoulders and legs,teach you the most basic but the most improtant things!Also i like their pay ways.you can choose 5classes,10classes,even evertime u want to go,just pay for one class.And if you have time for the whole month,they also have a member monthly pay.Everything is soooo nice and professional!I 100%recommend this place”

The ladies who brought out the food were so sweet; my husband, me, and the man-of-honor were having such a wonderful conversation outside that we missed dinner being served. We asked if there was any food left- there still was a lot- and the ladies made us plates, so we could still eat (they even asked if we wanted to take some home when there were still leftovers at the end of the night). They also have a bridal suite that was perfect for my husband and I to go to after the ceremony to just take a moment with eachother. My bridal attendant, Quinn, brought us food and drinks as well.
