“This gym is really dope. It has everything you need. The staff is very helpful and if your too shy to ask for help, most of the machines have QR codes that show you how to perform the exercise. “Just started coming to this gym a few weeks ago and I’m continually impressed. The variety of equipment both by brand and muscle group is top notch!

The front desk staff has been great to me since walking through the doors on Day 1. I am about 1.5 yrs into my lifting journey so some of the equipment here I hadn’t seen at other gyms.. No matter who I ask at the front desk, they all happily answer my questions.

The overall gym, bathrooms and locker rooms are always clean and well maintained.

The gym member community is the best I’ve seen. Everyone is super nice and respectful of each other but also extremely focused on their workouts ( which is the perfect combo you want in a lifting gym.)

Overall vibe is great! I live 22 miles away and I feel it’s 10000% worth the trip each time.”

“I’m definitely not the prototype of someone who would be a member of a gym like this.However Joe and everyone else have been very supportive despite my age, health, and lack of previous experience.If you are looking for treadmills and machines with no help and you fend for yourself like the other gyms have, then you are in the wrong place.If you want serious training where you are being helped to set and achieve your personal goals and get results, then this is where you should be going. They will show you the right way to do lifts and other exercises whether you are at the early stages of your training or you are an experienced weightlifter.”

“I finally had the opportunity to drop in to this gym. Today was upper body split and I am impressed with the equipment offering and availability of machines during my visit from 9am to 10am. They have a good amount of Prime fitness machines and a full line of dumbbells which increase jn 2.5 pound increments and were well organized. I plan to come back Friday for leg day and use the Atlantis pendulum squat (this is a very rare piece of equipment) and hack squat. The staff is very kind and helpful. Lastly the bathroom was very clean. Give this place a visit.”

“I am very happy that I joined Underground Gym. I’ve been going for almost two years, and it has changed my life for the better. I am stronger, healthier and went down three sizes. In my first eight months I lost 30 pounds. I’ve since lowered my cholesterol and blood sugar levels, reduced my body fat and even increased my bone density score by 6 points. And, I’m sleeping better!

I used to hate going to the gym, but I genuinely enjoy the classes at Underground Gym. It’s a down-to-earth place with friendly people. The 30 minute classes are efficient and effective. - kettle bell training, body weight exercises, and incorporate cardio.

I was nervous when I first started, but Sergei, Eric, and Lana immediately put me at ease. They took the time to explain everything, and I simply followed their guidance and kept on going. Everyone works at their own pace, and Sergei and Eric are always paying attention to form and offering helpful corrections. Despite having a bad back and knee before joining, I have yet to to injure them. Instead, I am now doing squats while holding weights.

I highly recommend Underground Gym. If you attend classes and follow Lana’s healthy eating guidance, you will see results!”

“I joined Critical Mass January 2021, right after moving to the county, with Ken as my trainer. Went out on a medical leave and then came back at some point in March or April 2021. After doing countless one on one sessions Ken convinced me to come to class during one of the CM challenges. I never did a class and was convinced it wasn't for me for the longest time, till Ken convinced me to try class. Have been going to class ever since AND continuing to do one on one with Ken. I have had 2 trainers prior to Ken and NEVER saw as much progress as I have with Ken. Completed me second, MassFest, a lifting competition for many gym members to earn PRs, cheer on peers, and truly think the group of people are inspiring to watch and makes me want to continue to do better. As for Ken, he not only inspires you but knows your strength more than you do, and pushes you to reach beyond your full potential. I have never felt stronger in my life then at this point, and this is after being athletic in high school. Ken and Critical Mass are the sole reason for that. If you are debating on a gym or debating on a trainer, search no farther than Critical Mass and Ken”

“I have been going to Orangetheory for about 8 years now,
I always feel better after a workout and it helps a lot with my energy and focus during the day.

The Middletown studio is awesome (very clean). The coaches are fun and have great music.

I also like seeing the stats from the heart rate monitor. It definitely pushes me to work a little harder and stay in the Orange so I get the most out of my time there.

The workouts are always different and can be as challenging as you want them to be.

The coaches are always willing to help you augment the workout to your abilities. There are people of all ages and fitness levels in my classes.

If you are looking for something to hold you accountable and build a consistent routine this is a wonderful option. (the best one I could find).”

“The owners, staff, and trainers are top notch. Spacious fitness center with a ton space, great classes from aqua fit (in the amazing pool area), strength class, total body conditioning, cardio ball and a ton of others with great space that is very well utilized.
The personal trainers give you a choice of working downstairs in the gym or you can get the vip treatment upstairs away from the hustle of the gym.
This place is one of the best. Clean, affordable with great options for your membership. A top quality fitness center!”

“I am not technically a Relentless member, but I would be if I lived closer! I am Coach Alyssa's Aunt and want to share how much she helped me. I have been having severe shoulder pain with limited range of motion for many months. I could barely lift anything or even put my arm into the sleeve of my jacket without difficulty. As an RN for over 30 years, my body has had a lot of wear and tear, and I figured this was something I would just have to deal with. Of course, as a nurse, I am the worst patient! Anyways, Coach Alyssa saw I was having difficulty, listened to my symptoms, and gave me a few simple exercises and stretches to do. I have been doing them and am SO happy to say my pain is much lessened and my range of motion is much improved! I really can't thank her enough! “POE Fairhaven is truly unlike any fitness studio I’ve been to. From the second you walk in, the entire space feels so aesthetic, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated. The front desk staff are always incredibly friendly, there’s usually the aroma of a freshly lit candle throughout the studio, and seeing Liz’s dog hanging out in the lobby somehow makes the experience even better.

Delaney’s MegaBeat classes are absolutely amazing. She somehow remembers every single client’s name and creates such a motivating environment from start to finish. She’s the ultimate hype woman and knows exactly how to push and challenge you while still making class feel encouraging and approachable. The workout is the perfect challenge every time, and she always provides options for all fitness levels so everyone can maximize the workout wherever they are in their fitness journey.

The golden hour classes are also such a vibe — the lighting throughout the studio makes the entire experience feel even more aesthetic and it’s honestly the perfect way to end a long day.

“I’ve been going to Fit by Marina for the last 12 years, and that probably says everything. It’s not a typical gym, it’s a boutique studio with classes, and the experience is completely different in the best way.
The classes are the reason I’ve stayed this long. They’re always well structured, never boring, and you really feel like you got a great workout every time. Even though it’s a group setting, Marina pays attention to everyone, corrects your form, and makes sure you’re doing everything properly. It feels very personal. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and never intimidating. Because it’s a boutique studio, you don’t feel lost in a crowd. Everything is clean, organized, and just has a really nice energy.
Marina is amazing. She genuinely cares about her clients, knows how to motivate you, and keeps things interesting even after all these years. I’ve seen real results, and I still enjoy going after 12 years. That really says it all. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a more personal, class-based fitness experience.”
