“How odd it feels to rate a post office but the experience here just had to be noted! This place is the most efficient and pleasant post office our family has experienced. Service for 2 children’s passports including photos. Appointments easily made online and promptly assisted once we arrived. The staff (2 ladies) were so warm and patient, made the experience fun for our kids, way less stressful for us parents. But on top of the manner, these 2 were an efficient team! Communication top notch to help move us and other clients along, detailed paperwork reviewed thoroughly and quickly, passports arrived quickly without issue. Truly a great office and wonderful staff!”

“This is a satellite from Red Bank, a much larger post office and this does just as much business. Yet Red Bank will not allow more than one person to work here at a time so there are lines frequently. The mail person, Jaime, is absolutely superb in her handling of the job, professional, knowlegable and kind.”

“I prefer this Post Office to others. They seem to have a lot of complaints about rudeness but I’ve NEVER experienced that. There’s a Santander Bank right there & some other stores. Sometimes Google Maps Street View still shows a Gas Station where there’s now a Chase Bank in place where there was a Gas Station Separated by the parking lot across the street from 6/12 Store.”
“I drive from Freehold to Farmingdale PO. I see John (Jack) at the window most times. All of my letters or packages arrive on time. I haven't lost one yet. Plus their suggestions helped me so much.Clean and I never have to wait in a long line. A hidden treasure.And I have to add all of the employees there are so nice.Its a drive for me but so worth it.Thank You Farmingdale PO.”
“After having a poor customer service experience in Asbury Park (where I've had many poor experiences), I have been delighted with the service at this Wanamassa/Ocean location. I am able to get in and out much faster, and the front end workers are generally much kinder and less stressed. My most recent experience on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 12:53pm - the gentleman who helped me get my PO Box (I wish I knew his name - he is often there and on my receipt it says Clerk 07) could not have been more pleasant. Not only is the service better here, but the same size PO Box in Asbury Park cost over $100 more per year. I will continue to bring my business here.”
“This is the BEST post office I have ever been to. Specifically because the women are so kind, helpful and pleasant! It is clean, well stocked and always a breeze to deal with. I went in this week during Xmas and they were wearing Christmas headbands and necklaces. How cute!! And merry!! Once I brought my dog and baby there. I leashed my dog up to the wheelchair ramp and the women there kept eyes on him to make sure he was safe. You can make this up! Hands down the best post office because of the women that work there. It’s also just a very cute and quaint post office like out of a movie.”
“I wish I got her name but I came in and one of the women was sooo helpful with making sure I had all my documents for a passport and showed so much patience and made sure the process went smoothly !!! Everytime I come here to send out packages the entire team is so helpful and nice !!”

“Personally have always had a good experience here. Usually don’t wait longer then 20 mins (and it’s been very rare that I wait that long) and both attendants are very polite. They actively go out of their way to suggest the best way to ship something and help you out. Also, they always got bops playing in the background.”

“I was in the Freehold Township post office this afternoon. I was smiled at and greeted, treated with courtesy and my package was handled quickly. Such a nice suprise! Thumbs up to the team working behind the counter!”
“I lost a package in the mail last Christmas and the supervisor and the one guy behind the help desk the tall one were super helpful. They gave me a number to track down my package which they located. It was en route back to the sender. They messed up my address so it was on the sender's side where the mistake happened that delayed my package. If it weren't for the clerk and supervisor assistance I wouldn't have had the issue resolved. They caught the mistake just in time for me to contact the sender and have them correct their error. I still managed to get the package ( gift )before Christmas.”
“The most efficient incredible post office i have been to. I own my own business which requires me to have orders shipped out everyday. These 3 have NEVER made a mistake handling thousands of dollars in packages for me. The most efficient post office hands down. If you’re looking to start a business utilizing post office, this is the place to be.”
“I rate this PO at a 5 star for the simple reason that they are understaffed and still do a great job. Yes it's crowded sometimes but the counter people do take alot of abuse and sarcastic remarks from unpleasant customers who defenatly don't understand customer service and got nothing else to complain about. I'm a bulk shipper and drop off packages daily and weekly, sometimes I do need to wait in line but all the times I did, the counter person was always so nice and helpful. When I needed a supervisor they came out rather quick and did help me when I had some issues with tracking. Overall I want to tell everyone to just be patient and understand it's not the workers, it's the understaffed of the po. Remember, it's a small po with thousands of packages to be delivered, sorted etc...I have no issues and thank those who actually stay there Even through the tough times. I feel your pain as a customer so I Crack a joke with ya when I approach your desk! Keep up the good work...”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about this post office. First of all, they are always so kind and helpful anytime I come in and need assistance. Second, I am still sitting here in disbelief how above and beyond Kim went to get a hold of my package. I ordered something for my daughter for her graduation and unfortunately when I got the notification the package was delivered I could not find it anywhere. It wasn’t our regular mail person and these things happen. I drove over to the post office 30 minutes before closing on a Friday, and Kim couldn’t have been more helpful. Not only did she locate my package but she went and picked it up herself where it was accidentally delivered and then hand delivered it to me at my home. This is just above and beyond what anyone would ever do these days and I’m just so thankful to live in this town with such amazing, kind hearted postal workers. I know if I lived anywhere else my daughter wouldn’t have had her graduation gift on time. Kim, you are amazing and I can’t thank you enough for what you did! We love our Colts Neck Post Office! ❤️”
