“The Claymont Delaware Post Office is great. Friendly employees, easy free parking and always open during posted business hours. I drive from Aston PA and pass 2 other Post Offices just to visit this one. During the past few snow storms my 2 local Post Offices were closed. Especially the Aston location which always seems to open late.”

“I recently visited the Post Office and had a great experience thanks to Samuel. He was very kind, patient, and professional. I had quite a few questions about the shipping process, and he took the time to walk me through everything step by step without rushing me.
He made what could've been a confusing process feel simple and stress-free. It's clear he takes pride in helping customers, and that kind of service doesn't go unnoticed.

“This place is pretty awesome. It's clean, all the employees are very helpful. I usually have no problem achieving whatever I set out to do once I get there. I especially commend the girl Anastasia. “Lots of confusion here with this annex and the building it's in. The entrance used to be through the front double door but it's now the single glass door to the left of the loading dock. No signage but I'm certain that the people working here do a lot to keep the mail running in this community.”

“Service has greatly improved now that the lady who used to work at the Deepwater Branch is at the counter. How refreshing it is to just come in and set down my prepaid packages to scan and get a drop off receipt. No more dirty looks as soon as I walk in. No more lectures about the kind of packaging I use or if one tiny spot of tape isnt smooth. Amazing how hundreds if e commerce customers have never once complained about my packages being unsecured upon arrival. No more nasty, curt replies if I have any additional questions. No more witnessing other customers being spoken to in rude, condescending ways as I wait in line. Now the newer staff and the nice lady that recently transferred take my package, circle the survey, and wish me a good day. Going to the post office isnt an ordeal anymore.”
“I had an urgent document to send out, and on Saturday afternoon I drove 30 minutes to reach this post Office location before closing. Unfortunately, by the time I arrived it was already closing time, and I hadn’t even prepared the envelope and return envelope. The lady at the counter kindly waited for me for another ten minutes and even helped me correct my mistakes. I’m truly grateful for her patience and kindness.”

“Whoever was working today around noonish was so wonderful. The post office only had 40 special stamps for our heavy wedding invitations so she input and printed 23 individual paper-stamps for the rest of the invitations so that we could get them sent out today. Thank you so much! I know it was tedious but you were a champ about it.”

Once my parcel can not be tracking for more than a week by USPS, but that parcel tracked after arrived Jkt.”
“I went on a Saturday around 11:00 and it was almost empty. The gentleman working was very kind and helpful. I was in and out within three minutes. I was able to find a parking spot within walking distance. I had low expectations based on the reviews, but again the gentleman working was so nice and even answered my husband’s questions about the history of the building. I look forward to going back!”

“I love the workers here! I've been going here for years bc of them & bc it's a million times better than the Lancaster Ave location. They are personable & friendly even after working long, stressful days. Sometimes there are longer wait times bc they are understaffed or doing passport appts, but 9 out of every 10 times its under 5 mins for me.”
“Great post office! Go here multiple times through the week and always have a pleasant experience. Not sure about why so many people are having negative reviews as its the post office not the DMV and the people here are awesome.”
