“I went to this store a month again to buy Benjamin Moore paint for my touch up project. To my surprise, even with the correct code, the paint did not match the color on my bathroom wall. When I explained my frustration to the owner of the store, he went above and beyond both trying to make new ones and adjust the ones we had, with all his effort and dedication, eventually, we were able to get the paint that matches our wall which saved us from re painting the whole bathroom. We are extremely happy with his service and are very glad that we went to his store to buy our paint.”

“Not sure if it's just me but I feel since the pandemic Customer Service most anywhere is just so different. Even when you purchase something that is under a year old, and it is still under warranty the hoops one has to jump through is ridiculous. I don't get easily impressed anymore because my experience as of a year ago was not even satisfactory . Ellen from Hesco Lighting however gave me a glimmer of hope- I had an issue with a purchase, ( it was the product itself) . She didn't ignore my phone calls, she got back to me in a timely manner, She referred me to the right people to get the job done- I mean this woman bent over backwards for me and I really appreciated it. Good Customer service these days is a gift~ Thank you Ellen for being my contact person- you are a blessing to boss/bosses- :) I hope they realize how valuable and rare you are~~”

Meanwhile at another store I twice tried get a staff member in the appliance department. Even after two employees used their walkie talkies to get someone there, no one showed. Oh well they lost a sale.

“Home depot is great place when you know what you want, and don't need someone to ask for help. The thing is I always need someone. Even a helper walking the aisles could save a person precious time in a day. I went around 4PM. There were busy helpers in the paint department, 3 helpers at customer service and 2 at check out.
There was one time at the Home Depot of Quakerbridge in my 20's I stood in front of a key machine for 10 mintues waiting for help, I decided to make the key myself. Someone finally came by to yell at me that I could hurt myself, but hey at least I got what I came for and made it myself. Needless to say, don't go cutting up wood to make a small shed because you might end up finishing it before someone yells at you. Saw sais situation in a tiktok once, they actually finished the shed.”
