“The venue is in excellent condition. Beautiful. Parking was a bit confusing. Pre-paid Parking next to the CPAC was not available to retrieve from the website as indicated on the web page. There was a guy asking to be paid at the entrance of the lot but he had no credentials (uniform or otherwise) indicating he worked there. I took a picture of him and his vehicle.”
“I had my daughter’s 1st birthday here and everything was great! Trish and John are so nice and accommodating and were very responsive through email answering any questions. Very easy to work with. The staff was nice and willing to help in anyway, the food and drinks were good and all our guests were happy! We received a lot of compliment on what a nice party it was!”

The owner was respectful, communicative, and very accommodating especially when we received news that a snowstorm was coming on the day of the event. “Indigo art studio was great for our son’s 6th birthday! They took care of everything and were so kind and accommodating. The party was a lot of fun for the kids and the adults. The party space is large and really cool, with a stage and graphics projected on the wall. Highly recommend!”
“Really enjoyable little nature spot. We tried to go to the New York Chinese Scholar Garden, but I don't think it was open on the day we went. So that was slightly disappointing but it's still a really cool place to walk around and be in nature. Went this past summer and I forgot how cool and vibrant green the grass was! It was a hot July day, but the trees and greenery adds a bit of a cooling sensation. I would recommend (or just giving myself advice) visiting in the spring or fall, for sure.”

“I rented this venue for my son’s 1st birthday party yesterday and it was absolutely perfect! The space was beautiful inside. I love the brick finish and the bar is nice. It was so clean, love the open dance floor, and just the right size for our guests. The space was a good size. Was able to have a soft play area, a mini bouncy house, and a Dj, and still have room for a backdrop ,games and dancing room. Catered from them and the food was delicious, especially the Chicken Francese and Chicken Parmigiana (still getting text about the food from guests).The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, any questions they answered no problem, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. It was also very affordable compared to other venues I looked at. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Definitely highly recommend for any special event!”
“The place was great for spending time with friends and family. It was small compared to other bowling places I have been to but it doesn’t take away the fun I have had. The food was decent, not great but not the worst but the fried broccoli was a bit mushy. Other items were great, so were the sauces. Overall, this place can be visited for a good time.”
“All of the staff and programs at East Jersey Elite Allstars are incredible. I enrolled my 5-year-old niece in their tumbling program in January, and she has seen significant improvements in her tumbling progress ever since. Coach Michaeleddie, specifically, is amazing at giving instructions and constructive feedback, making the experience fun and challenging for kids. I'm looking forward to continuing our partnership with this gem/gym in Bayonne!”

“In just a few days, the upcoming Lunar New Year brings the Year of the Dragon on February 10th among East and Southeast Asian cultures. It’s fifth in the 12-animal Chinese zodiac cycle and the only animal that’s a mythical creature. This afternoon, my partner and I arrived at the Woodland, located off of Woodland Road in Maplewood, to celebrate Lunar Fest NJ 2024—Maplewood Arts & Culture. Completed in 1930, the Georgian Revival-style mansion and adjoining auditorium have been a hub for Maplewood’s vibrant cultural and civic life for over eight decades. The unique event features lion dance, performances representing Chinese, Mongolian, Thali, and Korean cultures, children's activities, and delicious food trucks, which brought out the crowd.”
“I love the lower level of the Museum, which tells the history of the Island. The first floor is more about the nature on the island, and the second floor displays archaeological items and panels about the hospital for TB. You don't need to buy tickets in advance, and the staff there were nice.
One thing I didn't like about the museum was the music on the lower level, but other than that, it's a good place to check out. Taking pictures is allowed, but no flash and no videos.”
“Brilliant place for an event. Yes, it's in Newark, but don't let that turn you away. It has easy access from I-78 and while your event is running here valet parking in an extremly well lit parking lot gives you comfort on that end as well. The first level is eye candy for anyone into vintage cars or bikes. No, not a collection with a lot of depth, but that's not why you would be here. Upstairs is a spacious area for your event to continue in a more serious fashion. There is even a glassed in space perfect for the cigar smokers in your party. Though I do not know the details of the sourcing, the food served at the event worked out really well too.”

“I recently visited Union Sports Arena to explore it as a potential venue for a private event and had the pleasure of chatting with Ken. To my surprise, the facility is more expansive than it appears from the outside. Ken graciously gave me a tour, showcasing the main rink complemented by a smaller practice rink and a snug indoor field area.The upstairs food shop exuded a welcoming atmosphere, making it seem like a fantastic spot to unwind. Additionally, they offer birthday rental options.They've been there for over 22 years, yet it's a spot I've driven by countless times without paying notice. Tucked off Route 22 a bit, it doesn't stand out from the highway, but nonetheless, it left a lasting impression on me with the story of why they started and the very family-oriented goals they practice.As I consider Union Sports Arena for my private event, I can't help but recommend it, especially for those venturing into hockey at various training levels. The facility seems to boast a great coaching team, promising a nurturing environment for learning and development.”
