“Only problem here, ugh, is anytime that I go, there are no shopping carts available. Staff, which by the way are helpful, have no idea how or why they’re losing shopping carts. Ugh!!”

“This place is absolutely incredible. I think I could spend 8 hours in here and not see everything. I was shocked at how big the space is, what a hidden treasure. I went in on a Saturday and it was a little busy but that's normal. The gentlemen working were two of the nicest guys I have ever met, which makes me want to shop here all the time. They were so kind with every customer. Once it was my turn, not only did one of the gentlemen wrap each one of my purchases in paper then boxed them, but when I got home I realized he also removed the tags, saving me that chore. I will be back - often.”

“Can’t think of a nicer guy in a business like this. The owner Nick helped me out tremendously for a bunch of things I needed and kept recommending more to really complete my trip. Prices are incredibly fair and if you talk to Nick you’ll get a couple cool stories from him as well. I’ve already recommended this store to friends and family who I’ll most likely join if they head over here. I highly recommend anyone looking to go to a thrift store to come here first before anywhere else.”

“I have no idea why I didn't review this shop earlier. Today is my third time and every time I have walked out with some awesome vintage stuff. Today I picked up a reversible caped coat with leopard print on one side and orange on the other $50. No label but this is a coat that put a smile on my face. It's a statement coat but I'll wear it all winter. A lovely gown for my nephew's wedding for $15, a very large hand crocheted blanket and a lovingly washed quilt to go over it - each for $20. A copper bar server for $10 and a vintage clothesline pin holder in a fun and funky mix of salvaged cloth absolutely made my day. Top it all off with with the nicest people running it. This is one of the best church thrifts on the East Coast.”

“Googled thrift stores this one was in walking distance from where I was staying. It's definitely a cute little corner store.. clean small/compact. Owner was friendly. Items were reasonably priced. A lot of them items were reminded me of pieces older ladies might wear, didn't see too many things I felt were trendy. Owner did advise they get new items in often, definitely gotta pop back when I'm in town again & give it another try.”

“Literally my favorite thrift store, the prices are so reasonable compared to the only other local thrift, unique! It’s awesome to support a local business and no joke they somehow always have what I need!! Also they do 25% discount on everything every Wednesday, amazing deal on already low prices!!”

“PROS: Very nice thrift store I just found the other day on Yelp. People that work there are very nice and there is great variety. The place is clean and organized with a lot of parking CONS: some of the stuff tends to be overpriced. The board games being notorious for that OVERALL: I definitely will come back here when I'm in the area. It's a nice thrift store non the less. I would just stay away from the board games”

“For secondhand clothing, the UWS is replete with stellar options {Housing Works on W 74th, Housing Works on W 96th, Unique Boutique on W 83rd, St Francis Thrift Store on W 96th = all excellent options}. UES has great thrift options too: Unique Boutique on E 94th, Housing Works on E 90th, Goodwill NYNJ on E 88th, & there’s another one in East Harlem}. Once you step in and see how current and high quality the pieces they have are, and for such bargain prices (plenty of great pieces between $5 - $20), you’ll basically never shop new again. It’ll change the way you shop in nyc.Housing Works on 74th & Columbus —this one in particular has some terrific designer fashion finds; it also has a very cool home-wear section and some collectible pieces that are sold off on an auction basis. It’s very very cool.”

“I went here to look for some black pants for work, unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything that fit me. I'm a size 16, I wasn't able to find any parts over size 14. Most were 8 and 10 under. So if you're on the bigger side, I wouldn't be too hopeful about finding clothes here. They have quite a bit of a selection tho, I did find the curtains I was looking for and most prices are good. I saw a lot of clothes for 8 dollars under, and I saw a couple for 40$ plus. Overall a good place to go to for shirts and other miscellaneous stuff. I'll return again when I'm looking to refresh my closet.Edit: yes, it's true nothing is organized by size, only color, so be prepared to sort to the whole rack to find something in your size.”

“Spent 6 months of my life here...came out on the other side a changed man. I kicked booze & drugs , got my Drivers license back, social security card, NYC ID, Medicaid all taken care of over that time. Had medical procedure I had needed done for years accomplished. I became Born Again in Christ. I worked out every evening in their top flight gym including internet enhanced (NordicTrak Bikes, rowing machine, elliptical, and treadmill). Picked up good work habits as part of a wharehouse crew. This place is a hidden gem . Im writing this almost a year to the day of my first walking through those doors. I have a career now , my own place, and a life that I am proud of with plenty of opportunity going forward.Amen”
