“Merit Auto Body has gone above and beyond. I can't tell you how many times I've done business with other shops and it's been an anxiety-ridden process where I have had to take care of every step, call the insurance company, get a loaner, call for extensions, call the shop, etc.
I believe I only spoke with the insurance company once, paid my deductible and picked up my car when it was ready. Merit Auto Body handled all the calls with the insurance, the rental car company -- the loaner car was available at Merit Auto Body and was picked up by the rental company there as well. I didn't need a ride to pick one up or drop it off. The office sent me updates on the repairs and process almost daily with such a friendly demeanor. It was a seamless process from start to finish.
The repair was for the trunk area. It was crushed where the plate is located. The trunk door was also affected where it was crooked and didn't close plumb and the electricals responsible for opening and closing the truck were affected as well. I also had unrelated damage to my car and the shop kindly fixed those also along with the damage from the accident. When I picked up my car, it was spotless, inside and out. It looked as if I had just purchased my car from the dealer.
I highly recommend Merit Auto Body and I look forward to using their other services, such as detailing. They are all so professional, friendly and thoughtful -- everyone who works there -- that it brings back a feeling that doesn't exist anymore...that it's a friendly neighborhood interaction than a cold couldn't-be-bothered business. Props to the owner for creating and maintaining this environment.”
“This is a very honest shop and Reed really helped me out! I was hit by a wreckless driver who scratched the side of my car. Reed took a look and had his shop clean the sides and the scratches were miraculously removed. He didn’t charge me for this service but I will be back to get their help removing a dent that was left over. Cannot recommend this shop enough! Amazing hard working honest employees!! So glad I trusted my gut and came here!”

Woody, the service department manager(?) deserves the biggest shout out. It was a very busy day compounded by significant roadwork surrounding the dealership, which I’m sure was adding to wait times. However, I could tell everyone was doing their best to move things along and all staff were frequently checking on waiting customers. Because of the prolonged wait time, Woody went out of his way to accommodate me in ways he did not have to and were most certainly not expected of him.
