The food is also incredible. The carnitas tacos were perfect and the chicken empanada was one of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back to try some of the dinner foods as well.”

“This place has very quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in the area PERIOD. The sandwich variety and quality is amazing. They’re more expensive than what I’m used to for a sandwich (I’m not from NYC), but as soon as you take a bite, you get it. I always forget to take a photo when I go here because I am so focused on eating! Portion size is large, and I usually eat one sandwich over two meals. Staff make excellent recommendations, are genuine, and usually offer a free sample of whatever they’ve just made, which is a very nice touch. Their house vodka sauce is delicious. They also make fresh pasta, and I’ve enjoyed their gnocchi. Will be back again and again and again.”

I ended up getting the goose/pork Pate (good but I didn't like the packaging), Istrian vrat (pork), and manouri cheese (so good, a nice snacking cheese). They did charge me 9.99 a pound for the cheese when it said 7.99, so I would check for prices. I tried their dried beef and really liked it so might go for that next time.”

“My beautiful ladyfriends and I went to the Arthur Ave Retail Market to try out the new pastries that social media has been frenzying over. My ladyfriends were inspired from TikTok videos promoting Fritella. So, we all went to a store in the Arthur Ave Retail Market, the DUA Gourmet Market. We purchased the Fritella and additionally, I tasted the baklava. Yum. The store is lively, filled with energy and visited by cliques of people ranging from medical professionals to tourists. After I asked about a certain pastry, the lady cashier at DUA Gourmet Market was very friendly and updated to me when she can sell the Nutella Doughnuts - Fridays and Saturdays. She even gave me extra Fritella after engaging in a lively conversation about promoting our communities' businesses. I will go there on those days just to socialize and connect. It never hurts to have a chat and network. You may never know what opportunity awaits you in the near future. In-person opportunities can have much more familiarity than on a computer.”

“The best super market with in the area. Always has the best and freshest meat and chicken. Also have a wide selection of international foods. You will literally find anything you are looking for here. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied. Owner has even offered to get me a ride home because my husband was taking too long to pick me up! If that doesn’t scream great customer service i don’t know what does! The owner and the arab butcher specifically are super friendly and always trying to put a smile on their customers faces by having funny conversations. Owner is always in the store which shows how much they care about their business. Could not recommend this store enough!”

“Finding a good hot dog/sausage is much harder than you would think. This place is a good solution for that. It's a little stand outside of a butcher shop. There is a line basically all of the time. Is it earth shattering? No. But if you want a brat and want it grilled up nicely, this is your place. Kielbasa is $10. It's huge, pretty good but skip it for something else like the brat. The brat is $4. Worth it.”
