“I needed a sample size of a particular red for my home. I placed my order online and picked it up here an hour or so later. They have parking in the back with rear door entry. Customer service is great. I plan to return for any other home care needs.”
“I have been to this store on multiple occasions over the years and am generally OK with the services received. Today was the exception. Some amateur comedian was at the desk and clowned around with me while I was there to pick up an online order placed last night. At after 1000 a.m., the order was not ready; the web site indicated the order was going to be available two hours after opening (0700 a.m.). I indicated I had not received an email indicating the order was complete when asked -- and then he looked it up and discovered they had an order that was not yet processed. Three people were at the front desk and no one was doing anything substantial other than talking when I arrived, so no one was paying attention to business. So, while another individual made up my order, the comedian tried again to joke with me about the paint color chosen. I corrected him and he said he was just joking around. I didn't react at all, but didn't indicate I was amused either. I remained polite and was very quiet as I received my receipt and paint cans and left. Be prepared for a wait, if they are busy, not to have your order ready if placed online. My wait wasn't very long, but if that had been the excuse they provided me had I asked why I had to wait or why my order wasn't done earlier, I might have had a funny retort for them. But I wasn't amused by the scenario. Very unprofessional and not what I expect at a retail store.”

I was so nervous for my meeting at SW because I truly didn’t know what I wanted and didn’t understand undertones, sheens, and other important paint talk.My dad, who is a contractor, suggested I meet with Kate as she had been incredibly helpful for his other projects. So, I did.Kate made this entire process very easy and fun. She truly cares about you and your project and makes you feel so comfortable.I can’t thank her enough for everything she did to make this process an easy and fun one.I highly recommend Kate and the Paramus Sherwin Williams store beyond words. “I love Ace Hardware in River Edge cause of the paints, grills, and everything else. My program works at Ace Hardware on Tuesday's to clean the grills, sweep the floors, fix the shelves, and restock the shelves. My grandparents, Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Mike sometimes go to Ace Hardware to pick up things for their houses. I also ran into Mr. deMarrais while I was at Ace Hardware. He will look at your sample and in seconds whip out these color books and select perfect matches. There are literally thousands of nuanced shades of every color, barely discernible to you or me, but he knows each one of them like their his child. Go to eagle paint. Ask for Rob (call in advance, don't go in the AM when contractors go). The man is a genius.”
